it's disgusting hearing a wife merely calling d name of his husband without any reference or loving appellation like dear, ifemi, ayomi, olowoorimi etc. you will hear her saying akin, gbenga, kola, olabowale, etc just like that. what causes this , is it our culture or what? what's your view?

Is there a rule forbidding that? It depends on the relationship between the spouses. If the guy is ok with being call by his first name then what's anyone's problem with his affairs? If I get married, I won't get mad if my husband calls me by my first name; he doesn't have to call me honey, dear or sweetheart all the time. Same goes for him! If I feel like it, I might even call him bighead, cow, idiot or whatever I choose (just kidding, )
