My Reasearch plenty o, i use celtel's UMTS network, ( 3G) my average download speed is now between 42 - 48 kb/secs   Sometimes, i get above 51 kb/secs  |

well i've been able to make ultra surf work on ubuntu linux. I had to copy some dll's from windows and it works also had to setup the proxy to use and i've been able to activate my brothers lines.

My Reasearch plenty o, i use celtel's UMTS network, ( 3G) my average download speed is now between 42 - 48 kb/secs Sometimes, i get above 51 kb/secs info, please throw more light on this subject. I don't know much about celtel's 3g, but that kind of speed, Awesome! the highest i could get with mine has so far been 6kbps. And its very unstable. How do you do it? |

I already explained how I changed to 3G from the above snapshot, just change from dual mode/GSM to UMTS (3G compatible phones only)

(am currently downloading ubuntu-7.10) which is 695.8 MB   lol everybody eye don open,  , New N73 na 36k and music edition na 38k (so get your copy now before them increase the price  ) |

by the way, does the 3g have hardware functionality? If not then it could surely be made to work on non 3g phones.

Nothn do u bros@infobabagbalagba, But n70 manual tlk say umts dey dual mode.Say if selected,d device go use gsm or umts netwrk automatically, But neways, plz kip us informed afta u upd8 d n70, Guez d latest firmware is 5.0705.3.0.1 n dtz wt i got! Atleast nokia tel me say new firmware never dey 4 me,whn i chck am 4 them site. good luck bro!
