Web Designer/interactive Graphic Designer Needed!

ZEESOFT NIGERIA LIMITED helps companies formulate and execute effective online strategies through the design development and deployment of web, mobile Intranet and extranet solutions and the smooth integration of these solutions to the customer’s business processes.

We  are seeking a new Web Designer/Graphic Designer to add to our staff at our office in Victoria Island, Lagos. This is an outstanding opportunity to work as a significant contributor within our dedicated Software Team.

The Web Designer/Interactive Graphic Designer designs, develops and maintains creative design, functionality and content for Zesoft’s websites.  They will also help translate ideas into a visual look and feel that communicates the zeesofts brand while considering and applying technical and user needs into final User Interface designs.

 

Primary Responsibilities

    *
      Help define the graphic identity, user interface, and interactive experience for all zeesoft websites.
    *
      Create internal/external company web pages including graphics, animation and functionality.
    *
      Design web page layout and online content, user interface graphics, icons, color schemes for new and recurring web projects.
    *
      Design and produce e-communications such as banner advertising and e-mail campaigns.
    *
      Perform maintenance of graphics and content for web pages and web sites.
    *
      Develop, research and create layouts for new sections and features.
    *
      Understand business and user requirements, as well as technical considerations to identify key factors to be considered for the layout, organization and hierarchy of a complex e-commerce web site and for new product releases.
    *
      Other responsibilities may, on a limited basis, include supporting marketing collateral materials, brochures and printed materials.
       

Qualifications

    * A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent work experience.
    * 3+ years experience in interactive/UI front-end design.
    * Mastery of visual design/layout/typography/animation concepts.
    * Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Word applications and Flash CS3 Professional with basic skills in ActionScript, XHTML, CSS, Quark Xpress and InDesign.
    * Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate designs.
    * Experience in developing creative concepts that directly address business/marketing needs.
    * High level of comfort with web-based technologies, technical concepts, and the constraints they impose upon design.
    * Basic understanding of information architecture.
    * Experience in e-Commerce, e-mail campaigns, and banner advertising.
    * Excellent oral and written communication.
    * Exceptional attention-to-detail.
    * Ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently and handle project/situational changes.
    * Proven track record of diligence and self-discipline, especially in adhering to schedules and meeting deadlines.
    * Excellent problem-solving skills.
    * Ability and desire to quickly learn new skills and technologies.
