Sacking Berti:this Will Certaintly Work
« on: February 06, 2008, 01:14 PM »

this is the worst time to feel like a Nigerian,
2 wk ago 1 of the senators said there are 419ners in the national Assembly,
and 2 days ago , He seems to have lost his dignity and tongue, CASE CLOSE no further details about
those he was reffering to,
I read this morning foerieng reserve that never translated to any postivity in the lifes of Nigeria is dropping!.
And Saddest of all,is our Only COMFORT ZONE ,football , that is being Handled by
miscreante and Novice, who signed a Contract with a "spent "Coach who does not
know any Nigeria FC by name,
as at 12 noon today 06/02, it is Obvious that unfortunate NFA wont be sacking inconsistent Berti,
Fellow Nigeria , My Suggestions are as follows:

1. Let's All GLOBACOM Subscriber pressurize them to withdraw from Berti vogt Contract
2. Let's make 14 Feb day of protest by switching off all GLO line
3. Let's start thinking of how to mobilise Nigerian on 100 thousand Man physical protest to
NFA or GLOBACOM Headoffice, with the hope that the media will be around for coverage,
e.t.c

Please Nigerian respond, i just don't know whatelse to say, i hope you all can feel me

Hahahahahahaha

Switching off all Glo mobile phones? (Thank God I ain't a Glo subscriber Grin).

Sweetheart, relax! Sacking Vogts ain't the solution to Naija's problems. What we need more than ever is good management.

Vogts contract should be revised, that's all. We need to assess his level of commitment to our country and if he fails that assessment, then he can be given the boot.

The only problem I've observed with Vogts so far is that he is over-indulged by the NFA. The NFA needs to put him on a tight leash and put a clause in his contract that forces him to spend more time in Nigeria than abroad.

Nigeria is a weird country. How can you have a national coach who doesn't visit league matches? Fabio Cappello sits his ass in England and attends premiership matches to assess players and pick the boys for his squad. It's the same with coaches of other Nations, so why should Nigeria be different?

I can bet that Mr. Vogts has not been to up to 5 local league matches in Nigeria since he was appointed.

How da heck do you assess Nigerian players all the way from Germany?

God help us.

@ Razorr
for once in a very long time
why can't we nigeria call a spade a spade,
do a physical peaceful protest, pray less and say things as we all feel about them
without being diplomatic about our state of mind in this country,
All sort of people in helm of affairs in this country do all sort and walk away without remorse,
Razorr, i must confess i feel there is Nothing wrong with peaceful protest

@Teetalks

I must confess that I love your spirit. You are 100% right. We should protest and I love your suggestions on the protest, but we need to do so for the right reasons.

First of all, it isn't the sack of Vogts we should be campaigning for, but the resignation of all those politicians and thieves in the NFA.

The problem however, is that whenever Nigerians embark on protests like this, it's the people that suffer. The people in power in Nigeria are a bunch of evil selfish twats who care more about their pockets and asses than about the poor people of this country, whose only consolation in the midst of suffering and poverty is football.

Protest we should, but for the right reasons.

@ Razzor
Am glad you are gradually seeing things from my point of view, whichever way
we need to start sanitize our Admin Managers in every public office,
We need to purge all these public offices of Novice, and WHY NOT start with FOOTBALL NFA
the "spent" Coach, the blockheaded NFA board and so on,
anyhow, whichever way , we need to start reacting , before they sweep this Under the carpet
just like every other bitting public issues of this Unpleasant Nature

@Teetalks

Like I said, I agree with you, but to do this effectively, we have to be united.
So how do you suggest we convince the people of Nigeria do join in this protest.
