My apologies, writing and reading in Igbo is something I'm not very good at. I thought romeo was Imo state that's why he spelled it arakuba.

LoL Cheesy Cheesy Romeo is from Enugu

Arakuba - Alakuba
Okoro - Okolo
Ebere - Ebele
Ihe - Ife
Ekele - Ekene

Hope you got it

I don't know why u guys are absessed with where Igbos or no Igbos r from, does it really matter these days?. You are naija as far as everyone is concerned, when we go out and you flash that green pali it doesn't matter from that moment on. Why not make the best of where you are now. Igbos, youruba, Hausa, or Urhobo naija we all be it is that plain n simple.  Git it?!.

abi rist84sale, afterall the world is going green and the greens are trying to go Huh?.  But intresting observation by the poster even though I really don't give a f*** about today's egypt.  Another thing is the word oyibo, people really don't know how that word evolved and is really a naija word for u know,  To me that word sounds like oyi ibo ( friends of ibos/igbos).

Given the amount of words and sounds that exist in language, I'm sure for any number of languages original to the same continent, we can find random words that have similar sounds and meanings.

You want to demonstrate a real connection, we need to go beyond a random assortment of similar words, there needs to be a whole category of words that are similar, verbs and conjugations, sentence structure, culture, etc.

You guys should stop been blind, have you ever considered the possibility of other cultures such as the ancient Egyptian having their linguistic and cultural roots in pre-historic sub Saharan Africa.
Will any jew even think dear say he might have originated from sub saharan Africa or will any Egyptian say same, please wake up and be proud of your roots and build it up.
