of course, joe cole did all the work. my grand mother could have scored that goal. it was like yekini's goal against bulgaria in US 94. finidi did all the work.

Unmarked Crouch failed to put his volley at the back of the net rather in the keeper's hands

For the first time in a long time, England are playing
the ball on the ground. Couldn't believe it when I
counted 11 passes.  Shocked

Not a good performance from England but I know Capello needs more than a match to rebuild the team. He actually told England not to expect miracles today

Word!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can always tell Rooney is sheer CLASS.
Look at his weighted flick to set up Gerrard for SWP's goal . . . . . . PRICELESS!!

Capello has eradicated the boring long balls that epitomises the English game.
The players must get used to intricate passes as soon as possible . . . .
It's still a learning process.

Even if they combine Fergie and Capello with Hitzfeld they can never improve they would always be crap.

Play long ball play short passes they would always be crap. They should just Invite Scotland, Males, ireland Nigeria and other muppets to have their own Euro tourney in June while the real one is going on in Austria/Switzerland

@ Dayokanu,

Its only a matter of time. . . . . .
Prophet of doom . . . . You talk crap so much these days they should call u a water cistern.
The trip to Canaan starts with a single step . . England will get there.
Don Fabio hasn't failed yet to deliver in any team he manages. . . .

the big difference though is that Fabio cannot just fork out cash to buy his own players. He has to make do with the tosh England serves him

If Fabio can keep the lads fit, English players are as good as any other team out there.
The only problem is the team chemistry and players working together in tandem to win matches.
All Fabio has to do is to make the team gel . . . . .The materials are there already to work with.

The talent are not there for Fabio to use and like i4him said, He can't buy players like he bought Batistuta to win Scuddeto, RVNistelrooy to win Laliga he has to be content with SWP, Jermain Jenas, Gareth Barry, Wes Brown, Rio Ferdinand, Stewart Downing and other jokers. He can naturalise Adebayor to ENG or YAK as NGR don't need him
