The day February 14 is always a day set aside every year to celebrate St Valentine ( a Roman Catholic priest) who eleborated the essence of love sharing but people have turned it to be another thing. There is always love in sharing, so that particular day and other days to me is all about Valentine because we have to extend love to all and sundry no matter what level they operate. Also, the previllege as well as the less previlleged are not left out. The love in question must be genuine and based on plutonic in nature.

I personally do not believe in vals day.

BUT as a man, if your lady believes in vals day, then you have to play along with her i.e buy her gift, take her out e.t.c .   Just avoid the stress of her looking for any reason reason 2 fight wit u just because u did not give her anythin on vals[sub][/sub]

Remember, just because u don't believe in d day does not mean your partner also does not believe in Vals.Just do it 2 make him/her happy Cheesy Cheesy

@poster

Valentine is whatever you call it.
The definition is personal and varies from one individual to another.

However, Commercial Valentine is the exaggerated one that supposes that you must hang-out with your partner on that date .  .  .
find one if only for a short-term (if you don't have) Undecided
borrow from people just to spend money on that date .  .  .
perhaps make love you have never made before on that day
and act as though something extra-special is happening on that date.

It's all Commercial Valentine.
And Gift-shop owners/ restaurant owners have profited the most.
