kenny st brown should just sit back, relax and enjoy the family money
goldie should marry a rich dude and NEVER sing again
rasque should just get lost
zeal should become a radio presenter, so we never get to see her face again
nkem owoh, omotola, stella damasus, genevieve and all actors who think they can sing should just ACT. fullstop

I find this topic really interesting. However, there's a salient issue some of you guys mentioned in passing - expressly and by implication but which I'd want to dwell on; the radio stations playing these guys. In the days gone by (I mean the era of the likes of KSA et al), I want to believe that a song must be screened to determine its suitability for airplay. And by that, I mean the song must be GOOD (minus beats and all the studio 'effizies').

What do we have nowadays? Just have enough money to give these so-called radio presenters and DJs and your song will be played till the world turns deaf. Methinks these presenters and DJs are the ones encouraging mediocrity. Meanwhile, a lotta budding artistes out there are wasting away cuz there's no big bros or dough to promote their stuff.

Infact I used to think radio stations like Rhythm 93.7, Cool FM etc had 'standards' (knowwha'I mean?) but check out the songs they play most times! I DON'T BLAME ANY ARTISTES, I BLAME THE HUNGRY PRESENTERS & DJS Cry. For me, I listen to most of these artistes for some comic relief, but to use my precious money to purchase their CDs? Tufiakwa!

Baro, please start another thread - Radio Presenters and DJs That Have No Biz In The Musik Industry (lol)! Grin Grin

This should be classified into two
  MALE
    Master Plan
    Eedris
Jazzman Olofin (the worst of them all)
Dekunle Fuji (for spoiling the EXPERIENCE christian program with his wack lyrics)
     Tony tetuila
KC Presh (for pretending they make money from their album that has not sold 50 000 copies worldwide)

     FEMALE
     Goldie (worst of them all)
     Zeal  (worse)
     Essence
     Kenny St Brown
     Ashionye

Sincerely I think Durella should look for something else to do, instead of wasting his energy mimicking Dbanj.

I have not heard from Eldris of late , I think maybe he is trying to advice himself.

Tetuila may have also discovered his real talent, but definitely not music.

This Lyll Wayne of a boy or whatever he calls himself should just stop disturbing the airwaves and give us space to listen to good music.

Lil Wayne with his froggy voice should star as "comet the frog" I bet we have a lot of Nigerian artist that are better than him in every angle.  "American Agbero boy " He's not even in the class of 2Pac or 50 Cent to start with.

Also Beyonce should look for something else to do , I can see she doesn't have anything else to deliver.

Why will u say durella is tryin to be like dbanj? I'll say dbanj copied durella's style instead. Cant you see that dbanj has changed his style of music since durella's arrival?

SASHA, i wonder why they keep forcing her on people. ok adara try. sing another one na.

TETUILA, Find somtin else.

TIMAYA, Great talent, but u have only one chance left. create new topics next time. the 2nd album is like remixing the first. olofofo, dem mama, bad belle, everybody, new vocab pls. anyway he  just bought a new VW TUAREG.

MUMA GEE, Stick to event promotion. no biz in the studio.

Oo please! Lil' wayne will cough on a track and people will buy?? Nah, only retards would buy.

I didn't see his name as # 1 on the forbes list. Truth is, their record label buy most of their albums. Who needs to buy an album when there's ares and limewire? Definitely not me.

Abeg he's wack ,  like 98% of the time. Tsk tsk!

if he is retarded, then the entire USA most be retrded. if his label fake sales by buying up his records, how come he fills stadiums? they cant fake that na.

So because they made an effort to make a track I should pretend its good? I'm a critic my friend. If you put your stuff in the public domain then you want the public to judge it. I AM the public. If i don't like it, i will reserve my right to say so.

If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. This is the wrong biz. You need the skin of a rhino and bravery of a spartan. Fight to the death. D'large might increase his vocab one day and learn all about lyrics and rhyming structures e.t.c and improve. This is why one of Dejirayo's friend on another thread said he didnt know Nigerians could spit like Mode 9!!!! He must have D'large on his MP3 player!! Grin Grin Grin
