Gamine Gamine!!!! My friend! You know I like you too much! I thought you said you were a married woman? Then you should no about "postures" no matter how religious you claim to be. Ask Jezebel for bible na. Married women have no problem falling asleep you know? As easy as zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Unfortunately, due to your religious status as an elderess in this Nairaland church, I cannot share those secrets with you. I don't want you spraying me and ma computer with your holy "arrrrrrrrrrse" water! Check with your native doctor or pastor--which ever you see first.

When I was in Nigeria this last time, I could not sleep either. The mattress was so hard, I thought I was on the concrete floor---My parents reassured me that it was an "orthopedic" mattress. It could be responsible. Or you can take a muscle relaxant once in a while before you go to bed. Or tell oga to give you a good massage and a hot cup of "bournvita or cocoa" before you go to bed. Sowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwy! Hope you feel berrrrrrrrrer!

Tell a lie; I still do from time to time. This is what i do to help: Eat a healthy meal by about 9pm then take a very warm and relaxing bath/shower and then i pamper myself with various creams (aromatherapy). My sheets have to be changed that day or i won't be able to sleep. Then get something to read or listen to soothing music (this helps minimise the rambling thoughts) Though sometimes a vigorous exercise does help. It weakens the body and helps lull me to sleep. There are various things you can eat to help out. I check that out for you. But Pounded yam never seizes to fail me.
