MY FEARS FOR 2007
Anybody that had a chat with me concerning politics will know that I fear a lot for the coming Election 2007. Maybe I will checkout to Benin and come back after the election, but I think its my responsibility to cast a vote in Nigeria.
I was damn surprised about the latest development in Ogun state. The governor organizing thugs to disrupt the peaceful community of Abeokuta, just to put fear in the other man (don't say I told you o because no media reported it, only Abeokuta people experienced it).
I just pray we have it nice that year. I fear too much. What is your view, people?

Yes, the elections will be violent, but not the kind of massive violence that some people are talking up...
Part of the learning process associated with this democracy thing if you ask me...

There is absolutely nothing to be afraid of come 2007.If God is for us,who can be against us? All we need is prayer for our dear father land.

Well the 2007 might be violent who knows. With the level of arson committed by thugs. We got to see how desperate Nigerians are in the last elections. It might be violent depending on how fast we have learnt from the past elections experience. Experience they say is the best teacher. May be we would still see those AK's, dane guns, cutlasses machetes and armed police men rigging election for politicians. Who knows!

well, when i think of this Babangida and Atiku talk of Presidency, i'm scared and i just hope something happens so both of them don't succeed.
but maybe we should turn our worry into positive thinking and planning. can we influence people to be more proactive? the say the pen is mightier than the sword

Fear not. It's just going to be one of those things. I pray there shouldn't be brutality.

please, lets stop paniking and put our trust in God, co's His the only person who can predict whats going to happen. why am saying this, is that man might make their plans, but it is God that has the final say.

The solution is prayers. Let God put a hinderance in the way of those that will create the violence.
