umm. the only thing i can say is her hand. It's kind of weird looking in the photo and the cigarette isn't liked by most. But other then that, it's beautiful I think so too.

well, uhmmm, it's ok i guess, but what kind of message are you trying to pass across to your readers by having the front page bespectacled by a cigarette totting lady? methinks if the point is a cigarette advert, then it's presence can be argued, but i do not think that it's meant to be a cigarette ad, rather it's the cover of a mag that claims glamour. mind you, your catchment is the young i guess, so it's somewhat worrying when they start seeing cigarette smoking as glamourous in these times when state policies worldwide are united in stifling this habit.
approach any of the tobacco guys, they'll fall to have their ad in your mag, but somewhere other than the cover aaight, and i believe they'll pay too, no more freebies

Massive concept . . . . .
Two things you must know anyway. . . . .
1stly . . . . You definitely won't get it right the first time . . . hence all the criticism 2ndly. . . . You won't get it right the millionth time still without criticism . . . . Depending on where we see it from and how we grew up we see things different . . . . So do what you want to do bro. .
The cigar thing is definitely no it. . . Take a clue from the ladies . . . some talked about the make-up . . . .
Inject some nigerian stuff on the front page. . . . . . . . . Pidgin english . . . Yes pidgin . . . . but not without humuor. . . I don't have to explain creativity . . you already have it. .
Other than that . . you are on your way man . .
Wish you

ok i jst went bak to the page nd noticed the price 800 what guy that is outrageous.in the uk some correct celebrity mags are 90pence for 2 diff.mags of your choice. Nb: 100pence make 1 pound. why would nyone wana pay 800 naira, 8$ or 4 pounds for that that is being very over ambitious o, ah!!! infact looking bak @ that front page, the magazine has lots of problem nd needs loads of work. .

@disguy where did u see half nakedness? sweetie there is no atom of nudity in that picture perhaps the one u are seeing is not the same with what we saw/seeing. u can barely see any part of her body,u will prolly see more skin in a lady in church than there is this picture

Cigarette and the colour of her eyes , if you keep it to her natural eye colour and loose the cigarette, the picture would be okay. As someone said the make is not great but manageable.

Her make-up is nothing to write home about. please let her get a good make-up artist. That hair is very rough and unkept. Infact, that girl is not appealing at all. She's too dull. The cigarette on her fingers makes no sense. Most of the letters are scattered, please arrange them properly. The background and the colour combination is Superb.

she looked dumb with that cigar in her hand. What's up with the price? N800 naira? It sounds too expensive for that kind of magazine.

Having spent quite a bit of time at different magazines and being notoriously hard to please, the first cover made me want to throw up. The meeting point between the vision and its execution was rocky, to say the least, but I caught what was being attempted there. Amateurish, You don't skimp on professional design, and the hook lines on the cover caught nothing but air.
The second cover is much better. Keep that up. Good luck with the magazine.

if she had covered her body, not held a cigar, and just pose she'll still look beautiful and attractive enough to grace the page.people in the media don't just get it.we are the ones causing problems for ourselves in this country.if a youth sees this what will run through his or her mind and in the future if that youth is allowed to rule this country or work with the government what do you think he or she would do.EVIL

if you are talking about the fact that she is holding a cigerette in her hand then, you'll be suprised how many women smoke. the difference is that because of how our culture views people smoking, especially women smoking, women have to do it behind closed doors and by open windows. i was shocked several times growing up by the kind of girls i found out or even caught smoking. i guess images like that are supposed to make smoking look sexy and bring women out of the closet. remember that tobacco companies can't advertise anymore so this is the only option the have left to push their product. lets not also forget that the tobacco companies are employers of labour. be that as it may, keep in mind that cigerettes kill, but even worse, the eat away at your teeth and cause lines and wrinkles. believe me your self esteem will go out the window if you look 65 when you are in fact 50.
