How does none come to achieve Salvation? Well, the bible is not very clear about this. I have just been reading the bible and came off with the following options;

Salvation through WORKS/LAW

Salvation through FAITH

Are both necessary and sufficient for salvation OR is it either alone necessary and sufficient for salvation.

Now, if you are a WOMAN it appears that these two are not sufficient for salvation, for there is a third pre-requisite for salvation; CHILDBEARING.

Those women who have never born a child are there excluded from salvation?

Is Salvation available to those who have never heard the message of Jesus? For instance, our forefathers in Africa 2000 years ago.

How about those who live today in places where the message of Jesus has not yet gotten to? For these people, is it worth taking the message of Jesus to them?

no you didnt touch any nerve. I guess its finally dawned on most of us that you are not really genuinely seeking for answers but trying to use your purported "questions" to ridicule the very fabric of our faith.
That in itself is no problem, but i think you would express some frustration if u were in our shoes. you've never stayed back on one thread to fully confront the many explanations u've been given, rather you hop away as soon as u get stuck only to produce yet another bogus thread.

I typed out a reply to ur question on human sacrifice in the bible but it got wiped off due to internet glitches . . . after that i just didnt think it was worth the effort to attempt to re-write the reply.

Therationa, you have so many answers . . . what have u done with them?

enjoy ur delusional state.

hi all

what is the use of prooving to someone whose mind is made up on an issue? please this is what peter said

1 Pet 3:15
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
(KJV)

he said reason not argue the reason of my hope. Remember Jesus Christ doesnt have to prove to the Pharisees that He resurrected. He finally said that blessed is anyone that believes even though He has not seen becos it is given to those that grace has been given to understan.

for instance, i cant use scientific tools to prove love yet i know love. so i dont have to prove anything, if u believe good if you dont its upto you

JESUS CHRIST IS GOD!!!

How does none come to achieve Salvation? Well, the bible is not very clear about this.

To answer this briefly I will implore you to peruse the following quote sincerely:
It was G.K. Chesterton who rightly stated, "If there were no God, there would be no atheists." A thinking person will tell you that it's impossible to prove that God doesn't exist. Before someone can say, "There is no God," he or she needs to have all knowledge — because somewhere in the universe there may be evidence that God does exist. And there is, right under our noses. A building is proof there was a builder. A painting is proof there was a painter, and creation is absolute proof that there was and is a Creator. The question is, are you good enough to go to Heaven? Here's how to know: Have you ever lied (even once) or stolen (regardless of value)? Have you ever used God's name in vain, or had sexual thoughts about someone to whom you are not married? Have you ever hated someone? If you said yes to those questions, on Judgment Day God will see you as a lying thief, a blasphemer, an adulterer, and even a murderer. Jesus said, "Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart," and Scripture also says that if you hate someone, you are a murderer. This is the Bible's warning — if God gives you justice on Judgment Day, you will end up in Hell. Forever. Not believing in something won't make it go away. You need to be forgiven before that day, and because God is rich in mercy He made a way for you to be clean in His sight: "God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Jesus suffered and died on the cross, taking the punishment for your sins. He paid your fine in His life's blood, so that you could leave the courtroom. Then He rose from the dead and defeated death. Your death sentence can be commuted. Please, come to your senses— repent and trust in Jesus, and God will forgive you and grant you eternal life. Pray something like: "Dear God, please forgive my sins (name them). I turn from them and trust Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. In His name I pray. Amen." Then read the Bible daily and obey what you read (see John 14:21). Now go to www.livingwaters.com and click on "Save Yourself Some Pain."

Put Jesus to test today and receive His love into your heart for He has promised that as you do this He will reveal Himself to you  John 14:21 and He will give you the Power to become a child of God John 1:12

This is the summary of the commandment of God: that we should love Him with the whole of our hearts, mind and strength and to love our fellows as ourselves.  Jesus even simplified the second aspect by giving us the golden rule; that we should do to others what we want them to do to us Matthew 7:12

We can only do this by experiencing the new birth (as it has been explained in the quote above) and establishing a daily, living relationship with Him by worshipping Him, hearing from Him (as you read the Bible, I suggest you start by reading from the gospel according to John), and praying or having sweet communion with Him.

C'mon man,

How can you really say questions about SALVATION are not a good question. I asked a simply questions. Is salvation achieved by works or faith. You are just being evasive.

If you are sincere in finding answers to the myriads of questions that you flood the website with it will be wise to get to know the Creator and Ruler of the universe and to intimate yourself with the author of the Truth book otherwise you will continue to  grope in the spiritual fog as you were.

Are you suggesting that one must FIRST believe in God to understand these things. What kind of circular logic is this?
Re: How Is Salvation Achieved? by OLAADEGBU(m): 5:29pm On Feb 15, 2008
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.

1Corinthians 2:9-16

@Therationa, The Bible is a spiritually inspired Book and therefore spiritually discerned.  You need the spiritual birth so as to comprehend, acknowledge and understand eternal truths that are embedded in this Truth book. The Holy Scriptures is the contact point between the infinite God and the finite man and it is the only source of knowledge of God's revelation of things past, present or of things to come.  So, read, study and prayerfully meditate on His Words and let your spirit man come alive in you.

I answered your question about salvation in my first quote, but I guess you did not read it.  Salvation is to be saved and delivered from sin, sickness and diseases, curses, satanic attack and eternal death.  Jesus came to fulfil this in His ministry of preaching, teaching and healing and He finished the work when He was crucified and shed His blood on the cross of calvary (for the forgiveness of your sins) and He died and was buried, He rose from the dead according to the scriptures.  So If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God had raised Him up from the dead you shall be saved.  Romans 10:9-10 and this is by grace and not by works Ephesians 2:8-9

@Therationa;
How does none come to achieve Salvation? Well, the bible is not very clear about this. I have just been reading the bible and came off with the following options;

If you are an atheist, then your attachment to Christianity and its book, is not enough to be the Litmus for Salvation; for or against it. You need to include Islamic Book the Qur'an and even Jewish religion, etc.

In Islam your means of Salvation is SOLELY "Belief"" in God alone: That includes worshipping HIM alone. Believing in His Angels (an Unseen being), His Books and all His Messengers and Prophets. However, in the matter of the messenger/prophet, you need to represent your believe in all of them by the prophet that you live under his prophethood. In our present case, we are under the messengership/prophethood of Muhammad bin Abdallah.

Finally, good deed is an added quality, a supporting value to be able to receive salvation from God. For example, a person who does not have money will receive salvation if he has a good and correct belief and worships correctly, as indicated in the book that is current and contains how God should be worship. But a wealthy person needs to spend from his wealth in addition to true belief.

Read the Qur'an and we can discuss the matter of salvation in a better light.
