I think they are funny. (Osita and Chinedu). And they also cute. But i only like them when they play village parts, but when they play with girls who are taller than them it is somehow annoying.

Tishana, you said we should stop being jealous of the boys/men.Jealousy my foot! The fact that some of us don't like what they are doing does not mean we are jealous of them. They suck real bad. They are not even funny, they just look funny acting as kids.I will appreciate their talents if they can act as adults that they are and crack jokes that will make people laugh not just stealing and being naughty. we can't deny that children in nigeria act fake most of the time in movies. let the guys do there thing, its all for the money. I agree with you on that note. The kids they use in Nigerian movies leaves me wondering where they get the kids from. They are so fake especially yoruba kids(i'm yoruba o,it's just an honest observation). They have a few real kids that are good but most are not good, really fake. But i read one of their interviews on the net, where they complained about the producers giving them little' boy roles,it shows they are not the ones who choose to stick to the roles of mischevious little' boys, they need money hence they can't reject the roles. But it's time our dear producers/directors realise some of us are sick and tired of Aki and Pawpaw's predictable mischevious roles! I don't hate them,i hate what they do 'because they are so not funny and they make me sick.

i like the guys the way they are. They are really funny.their height dosen't matter. and for the side of using them in place of small children,if the guys didn't like the role of being a child in a film they would not do it. to my own view i feel they like it.

Nollywood has stopped encouraging child Actor/Actress, till date Americans/Britishs can not use the Luprichaun man "Davis Warwick" for a role Christopher Smith/Dakota Fanning.Everybody knew they are not kids and most times some kids in my neighbourhood wana be like them .But if Nollywood could remember the good old days of Peter Burnor Jr makes us love to watch the screen. Nollywood Top Producers can make a star out of any child if they really what to, but they are always in hurry in everything. Pursuit of Happyness is a good Example of what Child Actor can do for an Industry because Will Smith son was audition like every kid and he got the role. The opportunity for Nigerian Screenwriter to write good story relating to child problems not using "Aki n Paw Paw in the place of a child Actor.

Child Actor/Actress cost money and time but still an Industry cannot grow without a good Child Actor/Actress because they would be needed once in while to play a Major role(Leading Role).

The general rule in hollywood and the movie world is never work with Children or animals. The reason being is that they tend to use up too much of the production time on a movie to achieve what is required. In an industry like nollywood, where things need to be done 'sharp, sharp' breaking in a child actor is too much of a risk.
We just wrapped up post-production on a movie I wrote and produced, 'Half Empty, Half full'. We audition several young kids to play the role of a wisecracking pure water seller called Business Boy. But in the end sense prevailed and we eventually cast Imbrahim Musa to play the role. The guy delivered a performance and the film is all the better for it. An actor is an actor. And as long as they can make their part believeable - it shouldn't really matter. And this not to say that young kids should not be given a chance because that would be wrong but i think the industry needs to be more developed before we will see more filmmakers taking that risk. That's what I think.

acting like a child in a play or movie does not mean you are childish.
it is what they are paid for, take example of the Pet who act wickedly on any of his film that is his own part and that is what he is paid for coming to real life whether his family or friends he is changes,

No one said they are not trying but the point remains some little kids 're taking them to be role models not knowing they are oldies. We all know Nollywood is about 15yrs but still we shouldn't let the Westerners to call our movies "Low Buget n Rush Hour" No producers want to take his time to surprise Nollywood Lovers and the World. The Industry is growing everyday with so many untalented people.I happen to meet a producers and a talented Screenwriter and he happen to be my teacher, he has a good script and the marketer told him if he is to take care of production cost and all other expenses, he should feature his brother who is a no-talent as the lead role only then he would sponsor the Movie, just image that.Nollywood should also encourage screenwriter like us by buying script better money, (Its always all About Da Naira not Benjamins) Shalom!!!

but the point remains some little kids 're taking them to be role models not knowing they are oldies. - First of all, doesn't it make sense for children to take adults as role models? - Secondly, why should children take characters in movies as their role models?
