Hi,

Ghana is very safe and clean, compared to our dearest Nigeria, it is very organised, however hotels can be very expensive too!!!, so make adequate arrangements for your accomodation. have a safe trip,  Are you going by air or by road?, if you are going by road ensure to use ABC transport as it will safe you thro the rigors of the borders.

Have a safe trip

My Friends just went to Ghana today and it was quite easy for them.
They traveled by air though, if you prefer traveling by road ( which is the best for sight seeing) then I suggest ABC like the previous poster said.

If you're traveling by air however, you need your international passport, then you will just have to book the next flight with any airline of your choice and your arrival and departure shall be stamped on your passport at each airport.

Just a cute little hotel to lodge, eat good Ghanaian food and get around the local market for some shopping.
Don't forget to take your camera phone so you can take some snaps!  Cool

The only way you can cross the Nigerian border is with your Nigerian passport or your Ecowas passport. Please carry one of the aforementioned with you.

I was in Ghana for a week holiday in 2002 and believe me i wish to go again and again and again, you will sure enjoy it, the country is very neat, good roads, security is good, their taxis are so neat and looks well kept, hotels affordable but thing were somehow expensive then i can't say what it is now. At the airport you can book hotel, there are very affordable hotels there and some of their foods are similar to ours so you can survive. Believe me, anyday i will advise an holiday in Ghana.

I stayed a few days in Accra and few days in Tema which is less expensive that Accra, can't remember the names of hotels i stayed now but ask mr know all-google.

Anoda ghana must go saga. See yawa o!

Anyways, I schooled in ghana and those fags that call themselves customs at the airport charged me import duty on every damned thing (from indomie to garri to my laptop and cellphones.) It's a nice country no doubt, but I have my reservations on alot of things. And they fucking took a large amount of money from me for not having a residents permit.

O and if you must travel to ghana and other ecowas countries, use your ecowas passport, they are not worth wasting the pages of your international passport on.

Illiteracy is a disease and I see it has made you terminally ill. Since you are still hungry put maggi cube in hot water and drink it. It will hold you till the next time you go to the bathroom. You know my type because you can read a person through internet connection. What a pity hinger and sheer stupidity has you in disillusion.

You sir are a worthless dumbass, keep entertaining yourself while rupturing your stomach walls.

PS its asshole idiot and bitch asshole just doesn't go well together, better luck next time.

I am not cussing with him, his problem is hunger and poor life decisions. I made a statement of what I encountered in Ghana last year and he flared up like a nasty nostril.

Getting back to the question,   you will love  Ghana.  I have stay  in Frankies in OSU oxford st in Accra,  It  also  has resturant  downstairs with  a ice cream parlour and bakery. You  can meet  different  people at  night  because  everyone  comes  to hang out at the  icecream parlour. Frankies is very clean, i believe it about $50 and  up for  the room.  I also went  to  Cape  Coast  to  see Elmina  Castle that were  the  slaves  were  kept before  they got  transfer  to  various countries. That was  something. Kumasi is  also nice.

You will  need  your  Nigerian passport  to  entry  Ghana, but  you  don't need  a  Visa because it part  of Ecowas, flying  time is  55mins  from lagos. Aero contractor  as   some  good  deals  to  fly and  ver  reliable. Bellview is  ok,but they  always seem to be  delayed.

I have never travelled by  road but  i  do hear  ABC transport is good  to travel with.

Just  to say  the  Ghana custom officers  are  very friendly and when they ask you what you think are stupid / rude  questions they have to  do so that part of  there job.  if they  don't t hey will get fired. Please  don't  take  it  personally.I  have travel all over  the  place and various  custom officer s have   ask me  questions  such  as

are  you carrying  bomb,weapons
why  are  you  travelling alone
are you  coming to this country  to work illegally
who do you  know  in this  country etc

We  are  all Africans, please  let  us  unity

One  love  x

Frankies in Osu is gaddam expensive, about $100 a night now. The entire town hiked the prices of hotels  since the nations cup. The place is cool though but their food aint worth crap. If you must spend money on a hotel, find good one especially on broad street.

Cape Coast is cool. loads of slave things but thats it. No night life, nothing.

Tema is the bomb.

The people are nice, but be careful because they'll milk you dry with a smile on their face. And don't be decieved by the smiles, because they don't really like Nigerians.

ESS,

I am sure  the  prices at  Frankies were increased just  for the African Nation cup.

It demands on the budget you have the Golden Tulip, Novatel, Labadi Beach Hotel which is about $200 are more expensive

Also Makola Market, is good place to go.
