The Nigeria Football Association has begun moves to ease out under-fire Super Eagles coach, Berti Vogts, from the national team.
In doing this, the soccer ruling body has also started the process of getting a new handler for the Eagles.
Sources close to NFA chieftains disclosed to our correspondent that former internationals are favoured to fill the vacuum.
Former international, Stephen Keshi, is top on the list of coaches expected to take over from Vogts.
Others are current assistant coach, Austin Eguavoen, Olympic team coach, Samson Siasia, and another former skipper, Sunday Oliseh.
It was reliably learnt that the NFA was using the contract signed with the German as a guide to implement the next line of action for the national team.
”NFA is moving fast to come out with a position very soon because the World Cup qualifiers are near,” the source said.
