Blood is the life of the flesh says The Bible so be careful what you with blood. The only reason people have shortage of blood is always traced back to lack of proper nutrition and life style. What do I mean by proper nutrition?, feed your body with adequate quantity of organic raw carrots and vegetable juice, fruits and nuts and very minimal quantity of fish, natural sea salt, clean air and water, get enough rest and get moderate exercises always, then you will have no need to recieve blood execpt in the case of blood loss due to accident. Help us spread the good news and everyone will be just fine and dandy.

You have absolutely no clue what you're saying.
People need transfusions for various reasons and top on the list is blood loss from trauma, blood conditions like hemophilia and surgeries.
and these have nothing to do with nutrition.
Anemia is rarely treated with transfusions.

Sheniqua,

I don't disagree with you that people lose blood during surgery or child birth, but looking at other reasons for receiving blood especially when it is due to sicknesses and diseases. Why do people get sick, or why do people develop certain diseases?. Before you disagree with me why not go and research what you have just read properly before you disagree. No one knows it all besides we are not writing this to pass an exam or for a competition. Cure and prevention to most if not all sicknesses and diseases are coded in organic carrots, vegetables, plants, fruits, seeds, nuts, clean air, clean water, whole wheats,  exercises and adequate rests. One that observes these enjoys vibrant health it has always been the case and it always will be.

You are talking absolute rubbish.
Read your post that I responded to again, you claimed people lack blood and require transfusions because they don't eat well
and I tell you most blood transfussions are due to volume loss.
You and I who needs the research.
Have you heard about congenital diseases like hemophilia and Von willebrands or people with decreased clotting factors requiring plasma transfusions?
Or leukemias and aplastic  anemias.
Anemias from  Iron  deficiency can be corrected with foods and Iron and folic acid supplements.

I don't blame you though
Nigerians transfuse and spread HIV for any tiny thing.
Whole blood transfusions are almost a thing of the past here.
people normally get Plasma, platelets or packed red cells nowadays.

@Sheniqua

I wouldn't want to enter into much argument with you for a few reason. Your response approach carries minute civility though I believe in freedom of speech but same in the hand of some folks is just like diamond ring in the nose of a pig. Apparently you seem to be ladden with theories and wrote like one preparing for or just completed a nursing exams, nevertheless there might be some facts in what you wrote which has yet not explained why medical theories with their mega billion dollars industries have no answers or solutions to many of the chronic medical conditions people are facing today including some stated in your earliest response.

you claimed people lack blood and require transfusions because they don't eat well and I tell you most blood transfussions are due to volume loss.

Perhaps you should just go back and read other's comments that preceded my subsequent responses before you start venting your angry and impolite use of words at me.

Furthermore, on the test of simple intelligence eliminate the source or cause of a problem the problem vanishes, therefore in the absence of accident, child birth, gun shot, knife cut, animal attack any other reason for blood shortage has to hinge on sickness and or diseases so think about my other response then you won't have to get offensive in your response. I guess that poses a puzzle to your grasp.
