Catch [teach] Them Young-piggy Banks!

We were taught then to put away our coins in our PIGGY BANKS.
To encourage and stimulate the saving culture, our savings are
doubled at the end of a specified peroid.
Boy it worked! We saved and saved.

Will this method still work today?
considering the scarcity and near zero value of our coins.
