Love you mommy! Thank you for being ma best friend and being there for me during those hard times, for they have been so many. Without you, I could never learn to be a good wife to a good man or a good mother to good kids. You are ma honorable blueprint for the happy person I am today and will always be. mama, what would av been without you? my mum is da best mum in d whole wide universe. do i talk of d daily prayers 4 my success n well-being? or is it d monthly supply of food stuffs from home- garri ( 1 ghana-must-go bag ful), dried fish. platain, palm oil, or even d soup wey she cook upt inside flask come give me? as old as i am my mama still dey send me foodstuffs. or do i speak of d daily pieces of advice. she'll say " watever u do. don't forget God your creator, always be close 2 him, do not neglect him, always pray n hand over everytin 2 HIM in prayer' etc. so una see? my mama is d best. sue me if u think otherwise.

Her mom you are everything a wife/ mother should be, a strong, loyal, caring and trustworthy woman, I just want take this time to tell you how much I love you.
you are one of the greatest gifts God has given to me, and my sibling, i can't imagine life without you, even though we have our differences sometime, you still love and cared for me like a mother should. No matter how much troubled I’ve putting you through, you are still always there to get my back whenever i need a motherly advice. Have lots counts of those silly fight we have used to have, lol you know your daughter has a strong head and always want things her way, but you took and understood me

My dear mother,
Words can not describle what you are to me you are simply my LIFE because when my father died while i was only 3 months old you decided to not to remarry because you did not want any man to treat me/us like shit, you singlehandedly saw me/us through my/our growing years and education until i/we married my/our best friend.
You were there for me/us and made sure i/we had no ill feellings due to having lost my/our dad as a baby/little kids. You are a great example of what motherhood should be, you have high standard and taught me/us to be independent in anything i/we do.
You gave me/us the best legacy, you are my/our LIFE and i love you so much, little wonder i could not wait until the 3rd of March (mother's day) to present you that beautiful house your being single with no support denied you of having yourself, you prefer to build us to building house.

LIES OF MY MOTHER This story begins when I was a child: I was born poor. Often we hadn't enough to eat. Whenever we had some food, Mother often gave me her portion of rice. While she was transferring her rice into my bowl, she would say "Eat this rice, my babie! I'm not hungry." This was Mother's First Lie. As I grew, Mother gave up her spare time to fish in a river near our house; she hoped that from the fish she caught, she could gave me a little bit more nutritious food for my growth. Once she had caught just two fish, she would make fish soup. While I was eating the soup, mother would sit beside me and eat the what was still left on the bone of the fish I had eaten, My heart was touched when I saw it. Once I gave the other fish to her on my chopstick but she immediately refused it and said, "Eat this fish, my queen! I don't really like fish." This was Mother's Second Lie. Then, in order to fund my education, Mother went to a Match Factory to bring home some used matchboxes which she filled with fresh matchsticks. This helped her get some money to cover our needs. One cold night I awoke to find Mother filling the matchboxes by candlelight. So I said, "Mother, go to sleep; it's late: you can continue working tomorrow morning." Mother smiled and said "Go to sleep, girl! I'm not tired." This was Mother's Third Lie . When I had to sit my Final Examination, Mother accompanied me. After dawn, Mother waited for me for hours in the heat of the sun. When the bell rang, I ran to meet her. Mother embraced me and poured me a glass of tea that she had prepared in a thermos. The tea was not as strong as my Mother's love, seeing Mother covered with perspiration, I at once gave her my glass and asked her to drink too. Mother said "Drink, daughter! I'm not thirsty !this was mothers fourth lie ! YES,MY MOTHER WAS AN ANGEL! M - O - T - H - E - R: - " M" is for the million things she gave me, " O" means only that she's growing old, "T" is for the tears she shed to save me, "H" is for her heart of gold, "E" is for her eyes with love-light shining in them, "R" means right, and right she'll always be, Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER"--- a word that means the world to me. love you mama ! |
