I Need Advice On Promoting My Music In Radio Stations
Peeps, I need to promote my music. I have recorded some tracks and woul like to give them to radio presenters.Can someone tell me what I should do.I need music played in lagos, PH, Abuja, Enugu, etc.Can someone advise me on the best djs to approach and if it involves money, how much? Please holla me if you have any suggestions.Thanks, and also, is there any promotion company, not a record label, that can help me get my music sent to popular djs in nigeria? thanks

i hear say na to pick any good presenter with a huge audience and discuss with him.He may ask for a little ogunje just to make him happy, but once people start calling in,requesting your song, then other stations will become interested in you, good luck.but give us a feedback!

HEY, All you have to do is get your cd labeled,yah know what i mean,burn like 30 to 50 copies,go to the station yourself,or try listen to any radio pro gramme that plays your kind of musik,know the name of the programme and go to the station ask for the producer of the pro gramme,and em talk to him or her and be very smart there is no fixed price for promoting your song on radio,so price am well,yah can i also see the cool fm guy Dan foster as long as u gat a tight song u do not need to pay a peny in cool fm,them go play your musik,but guy i really recommend LINK FM them be the bammest when it comes to promoting Nigeria musik, hope this go help u,  |

My guy, make i tell you the simple truth, visiting all the radio station in Nigeria might not help you that much. N0:1 thing is, how tight is your songs? there is alot of competitions going on in every radio station but the tight songs will always succed. even if you give to only one or two radio stations, so far its tight, Producers, Dj's, Promoters, Marketers, Distributors, Presenters, e.t.c even fellow artiste will be rushing you like anything to feature in their songs, which is also publicity! people are out there to jugde when they lsten to your song. you reaally have to be careful. its really not too difficult but be careful with thise who will promise you the world chop yur pay and give you nothing at the end of it all. read carefully for i see number of folks have offered candid advice and some na sure kpuff and yur lean bar is gone. what kind of music are yu doing.with that it will be easier to know which station and particular programme producer to approach. some will ask for small change but i think someone like danfoster is likely to air yu for free only if yur stuff is good.most stations are on;line now and yu can contact many of the presenters by email. where do you live? why not start by penetrating the folks in your local station then using them as a leverage to expand as they are likely to know folks in other stations especially for station that have presence in other states. na small small bro. the very best of luck and grace to you.

I found out an entertainment outfit that can help you out. Its actually an international-Africa based- organisation. They even have a radioshow running in different parts of Nigeria. In lagos, I think one of the stations they feature is star fm every saturday by 10am. Its called the elishabaza show. The outfit is called Blackbox entertainment. Tel. 017220384. I suggest u call them or listen to the show this weekend to get more facts. Hope this info is useful. cheers
