Job Summary:
Written communication is your artistic medium. You’re half tech writer, half marketing writer and all new media savvy. You create wonderfully compelling copy from ideas and/or technical specification in a short amount of time. Your grasp of grammar, diction and style is so amazing that you’re both effortlessly sophisticated and down to earth. You can speak clear layman without talking down, and have a way of explaining tricky details. You also know how to use the right keywords to attract search engines. You’ve managed large stores of web content before, and you know how to develop the right voice and ensure it’s consistency across everything you create. You’re just awesome.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Write, edit and proofread clear, compelling, website content and other written online content
• Drive constant voice, grammar, format, diction, etc across all text
• Manage, organize and warehouses written assets
• Work with marketing and other teams to develop and adopt SEO stratagies for website content
• Work closely with design and development resources to guide refinement of text presentation
• Participate in development of information architecture

Knowledge and Experience Required:
• school certificate and knowledge in related field (e.g. Journalism, Marketing, Communications, New Media etc.)
• writing experience - including at least 1 year of writing for an online audience
• Solid understanding of SEO techniques for written content
• Experience managing written and other digital assets

Skills and Abilities Required:
• Outstanding ability to write
• Extraordinary attention to detail
• Proven trackrecord of nailing deadlines
• MS Office proficiency
• Passionate about written communication and it’s august role in creating successful websites
• Distill technical information and marketing ideas into the most compelling content for a variety of audiences
• Work well independantly and as part of a team
