Nigerian drivers should be really given a total refomation/recycling because of the ugly trend in the rate of accidents being caused by them due to their recklessness and ignorance .

I believe it is due to lack of education which propels it to that because in Nigeria, somebody can just wake up one day and go to the Ministry/Board in charge of issuing the so called Driver`s License and with some money which exceeds the normal fee been charged for it, the applicant who does not even know what it takes to be a driver and who also doesnt also know the traffic regulations, will actually get the Driver`s License.

So its high time the Federal Government also addresses this issue and enforces that before one gets a Driver`s License, he or she must passed through the due process and obtain his driving education after which he or she will be presented with a certificate to enable him/her obtain the Driver`s License.

Lots and lots of people have got licences (even d blind). Truth is that they are not qualified. No test is done.

I agree. Nigeria needs to crack down on bad drivers. They need to reestablish traffic laws and enforce them as well as provide penalties for everyone that breaks traffic laws.
