I was trying to install windows sp2 but it got stopped with an error (missing files) in the process and now I can't even find the previous sp1 anymore. Since then all I see is "setup is being restarted. . ." but nothing is being done. Kindly help me on what to do if only or just to restore my previous pack.

probability is that the cd you're installing from is partly bad. Try installing from another sp2 cd and see if it helps.

, or download it from the net, Microsoft site. that is if the system is still booting. But th problem u have is a result of a faulty cd.

If na pirate copy you dey use too bad. I sorry o but microsoft won't allow you to download direct from the net.

the 2 possibilities; the sp2 cd is bad[ of course i know it is pirated], or your Cd-rom is faulty

dude, bad cd, burn another copy from a working cd.
