   This is a rather interesting phenomenon on Nairaland. A unique one. I happen to be a bit conversant with Fibroids. I keep on wondering about these so called daily drugs that is consuming so much money. Amongst others, the pathophysiology of fibroid could lead to abdominal distention with pains and discomfort. There may be reduced ability to retain urine and reduced food appetite, from its pressure effects on abdominal organs. If your mother were to be pregnant, pains could occasionally be severe from what is known as red degeneration of fibroids. Ultimately, fibroids could cause bleeding, which may be severe and recurrent. Palliative measures entail treatment of anaemia and pains, while definitive management is surgical.

   I am a bit puzzled. Are you spending such a huge amount on management of pains and procuring what is commonly known as blood tonics? Has she been having recurrent transfusions? True, i can understand that operations do cost money, but spending fortunes daily on medications is rather curious.

  I have played my bit and leave decisions to Nairalanders. Personally, i am not convinced and see this as a scam. A real effontery that should not be tolerated on this scam.
