Please tell us some Nigerian slangs you know...just for fun.
Remember to put the meaning of each slang.
I have a few...
SLANG - MEANING
Fashi - forget it 
Peche - chill out
Amebo - backbiter/rumour-monger also called Gbeborun
Woze - slap
Guck - 1. sleep 2. believe a lie
Gbe ja - run away
Runs - try to do things the bad way. (I don't think that's the correct meaning Huh)
Baffs - designer wears
Bakassi/Ikebe - Booty
ITK - All those "overserious" students. ITK stands for I Too Know
Aro - funny person. (peculiar to OAU)
Akata - White man
Jand - UK
Yankee - US
Ajebutter - rich, spoilt kid
Awoof - Free things

But you guys are getting a lot of your spellings wrong... u're spelling them more line local lingua and not like slang-spelling...

What would be nice, would be if a dictionary could be compiled for this.. I've long been suggesting that the Lingua franca for the nation be "Pidgin English".. the only language truly spoken all over the country, even by our dear President.. And as we all know, all these slangs form a part of this.. Pidgin, that is..  Wink

Aj city means Ajegule town

Danfo means Mini bus or 18/16 seater bus

Rake means Empty boasting

F.F.O means for food only

Palle/pupsi means Daddy/father

malle/ mumsi means Mummy/mother

My old man means my dad.

see level means wonderful

bros means brother

oju kokoro means greedy

ode/ olodo means illitrate
