you wont need hospitality if you have good online banking because you will hardly ever show up at the bank branches.  you can sit down at your computer or on your cell phone and order a certified check to be paid to someone among other things, infact with GT bank you only have to show your original documents for sighting and courier services now offer return document handling for document sighting purposes.

however if your the type that wants hospitality in terms stopping over at skye bank during rush hour to avoid traffic while the staff there give you a soft drink and offer to follow you to the skyebanks guest house just down the road for a quick rompus until traffic clears, them be my guest. all prostitites are looking for money but not all money is looking for prostitutes!

apparently this is the new marketing system in banks to have a guest house and the hotels they own close to the bank branch for a quick rumpus under guise of telling people its for complementary business meetings, to avoid traffic or if the customer missed their flight or is in town for the weekend and that they can even request ladies or gentlemen (who are usually the bank staff or models available on call) to host, accompany and escort them even from lagos to abuja and back for a few days. depending on the customers balance in their account they can even bring a british person and moet to th guest house/hotel. but if the persons bank account is low , its just coca-cola and a free watching of satellite T.V lol

Have you got access to intercontinental or skye bank checks with FAT accounts?
I have 'connections' within those banks who can do magic. EFCC-proof. All we need is a copy of an issued check

Call me on 07034417145 for details

Hello Nairalanders. You can do something about the Customer Relationship and Service by Nigerian Banks. Just fill in my survey which wont take more than 3mins maximum of your time. Its really very easy and multiple choice questions. I'm carrying out the study as part of my dissertation. Thank you all for helping out. Please find the link below:

It not a matter of using so called "janded" standard websites or advertising on CNN  to attract people for deposits, its all about the customers  expereince and priorities the. GTB beats the us and uk standard to open an account becaus they will open one within 24hrs with chequebook/passbook valuecard complete, mastercard is within 2 to 5 days. so GTB is really fast! and their e-kiosk branches are virtually run by eletronic kiosk machines and ATM machines.

I noticed Access bank  has recently changed its website in an attempt to attact deposits, people already know that the website dosnt match up to what you get at GTB.

GTB and ETB are also the most financially stable than most of the 2nd and 3rd generation banks.

Look at what happened to spring bank, thats what most likely will happen to zenith because when politicians want to bring politics into a bank thats what happens, politics is for national assembly not a bank!

GTB your the best the only thing we need from you now is the following

-the ability to transfer cell phone minutes, pay for cell munites etc to most cellular companies from GTbank website

-an instant message/chat for customers who can log in to use it and chat with people in various dpartments for various issues.

-ability to transfer to external accounts via sms, because cost of e-transact card/account is not yam.

-ability to recieve bills to ones cell phone via sms i.e getting an text message on how much you owe for electricity, water,  including date due and amount due i understand that e-transact may be have this capability but i heard the initial cost for -tranact card/account is about 50,000 naira or sonething ridiculous like that, haba interswitch is it becaus paul lawal is no longer th md/ceo?

@ JIMMYJAM. you are really funny. Why would you classify banks with such words? I laughed though.
Anyway GTB rules all.

BANKING WITH GTB IS BANKING WITH THE BEST,THE FIRST IN TERMS OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICE DELIVERY

INTERCONTINENTAL ARE GOING CRAZY WITH UNNECESSARY CHARGES ON ACCOUNT

I honestly used to think i was the only one that loved GTB soooooo much.i bank with intercon, eco bank, access.i've worked with zenith. but GT? they're just the best among these evil nigerian banks.
10 REASONS I LOVE GUARANTY TRUST BANK
1.their architectural work in EACH branch be it inside the market or  in VI just  makes. me smile, literally,EVERYTIME i pass one.there are no two that look the same but u just know thats a GTB wen u c it.(Zenith  claims its all that but ther buildings r just glorified red and white toilet boxes.trying to cut costs b all means hence there totally uncreativ buildings).
2. Their accounts officers make you feel like u're a billionaire by the way they treat u even tho u kno watsup.i feel guilty everytime i hav a lump sum
until its sitting in one of my gt acc.s. y would i want to giv my money to zenith or others that let u kno u're nothin unless your acc is bursting with cash?
3. Come the 22nd of this month month,i kno for a fact i'll receive a thotful long txt txt from them wishing me a fantablous or fun-filled(they get creative) yr ahead AND my acc officer will call me. d oda banks jst send cold impersona txts,IF they bother, somthin like , 'Dear john bla bla, full names, ,we wish u a hapy b.day.thnk u for banking wit us'
4.Since i started with them, they CARE to kno how i'm doing at every major event in my life.i got called several times wen i was in NYSC camp.and they wer the only bank in Lagos camp that consistently brot cash on wheels to camp so we never ran out of money.
5. You always leave the bank happy cos they responfd to u promptly.
6.Transactions are always tidy wit no unneccesary charges.
7.No crowd at the banking hall but even wen u meet one,it moves at an amazing speed.
8.Fast mastercard collection and billing.
9.when u see somthin unclear in your statement, they're willing to take their time to xplain even wen u're askin a stupid question
10.the slogan is just polite and seductive, after all this listed above, WOULDN'T U RATHER BANK WITH THEM?!

lets face it d average nigerian is not friendly when dealin with customers that are perceived to be 'lower', a lot of times my heart has gone out to ppl who i see been treated harshly by the same person who is pretending to be so nice to me, this is the greatest problem irrespective of d bank

The truth is that GTb stands out on this topic. I use Intecontinental, bank Phb, skye bank, and the difference is clear. Its not about how much you have with them, i believe its the bank's culture. I once had a brush with a Gtb staff sometimes ago, she had to call me later in the day to apologise for the incident, i was amazed, and became glued to them.

ITS GTB 4 LIFE
