PleaseI was not there ooooooooooooooooh!  That was what my uncles told me.  My grandfather was blown away while he slept in his bed in the village and the rest of the boys, 5 of them had to run away only to meet in Biafra safe and sound. The girls, 5 of them ran to Benin and were hidden over therewhere my mother met my father after many years after the war.  Of course there were animals in the bushes.  But they were talking of human flesh already dead within range of fellow "runaways".  Not some animal you have to chase around the forest without knives and pots to cook them with.  Lest the smoke from your cooking spree alert the soldiers from "Chad" about your hiding place.

This is what kills me about Nigerians.  Instead of dealing with issues, no matter how offensive they are, people get unnecessarily emotional and start deviating from the subject.  So, what if there were Igbo cannibals in Nigeria?  Who cares?  It was part of history as my darling uncles narrated to me. I have no reason not to believe them .
