This our defense is a problem, imagine Athletico Mardrid scoring 4 goals and celtic also scored 2 goals in Scotland. I think Puyol is not at his best, maybe Rijkaard should bench him, or is it because Puyol is a spanish?
What do you think is da possible solution?

The problem with our team is not the players but the style
If watch very well,
Thruam who was a regular in Juventus warms the Bench because he plays Seria A type of defence where you seat back and mark players
what Rijkard want is defenders that can move forward and support the midfield
thereby leaving the goal keeper at the mercy of his reflexes during counter attack
His style is the issue
am really embarrassed not just disappointed that Atletico can score 4 goals against us
Lets hope he doesnt play that style in champoins league

@ ndubest, thanks for the comment i think u're right. I wonder why such an experience defender like Thuram sits on the bench, so definitely is the style.

I don't quite agree. The figures say otherwise. Barca have conceded the fewest goals in la liga. They've also lost the fewest (with Madrid). Our problem now is the head. We draw or lose some matches that we should win well well. In those ones, we don't score enough. (maybe not counting Atletico)
Milito is great. Puyol is a mad man, but the guy get energy. Abidal is also very good. Zambrotta, Sylvinho, Oleguer and co are solid. Thuram don de old oh, but experience is there. The defense is OK.
We just look mediocre in attack when Messi is not around. Ronaldinho is improving but he's just not himself this season.

barca is doin well defense wise but we need to oil our scoring machines lets hope we don't play an english team
