I don't find the guy's statement unbelievable nevertheless I'd like to think he was thinking out loudly and didn't realise she'd heard .Perhaps he said "I've finally decided you're the one for me" but the girl heard otherwise.Or he thought he said "Will you marry me?" and something else came out.

Really I think being an old poster and then changing names is petty, it takes the shine off sound ideas and projects personalities - the clash of ideas educates, the clash of personalities hurts destinies

The guy had weighed all the options and had finally come to this decision. she should count herself very lucky. You ladies think its easy for a guy when he wants to propose to the lady he wants to spend the rest of his life with. Am sure he pobably didn't want it to come out like that. but tension can make a man say/do strange things. If she knows whats good for her, she should use style and accept before another babe take your place. Iam most impressed with tkb 417. Some of us take things to the extreme. We watch too much home videos and are carried away. He might have said that without having anything at the back of his mind.
