Cross-dresser Jailed In Nigeria
« on: March 04, 2008, 05:12 PM »

A Nigerian court has sentenced a man to 18 months in jail after he admitted he dressed up as a woman.
Uche Ndubuisi was arrested loitering around Lagos international airport.

He pleaded guilty after women's clothes and makeup that belonged to him were brought in evidence.

He pleaded guilty to the charges and was not given the option of a fine, an official at the court in the Lagos suburb of Ikeja told AFP.

Laws

Another 18 men face charges of vagrancy and indecent behaviour in the sharia-run northern state of Bauchi after they were arrested in a hotel allegedly dressed as women.

Lagos is not a sharia state, but has recently seen police arrest women for wearing revealing clothes.

Cross dressing in Nigeria is linked by authorities to homosexuality, which is illegal in the country.

Nigeria has come under criticism from human rights groups for their laws.

It is not known why Mr Ndubuisi was wearing women's clothes, or why he had 22 pairs of women's pants, four bras and several make-up kits.

I got this off a transvestite website. Ignorant faggots!!!

Nigerian crossdresser arrested

Well there’s always some place that’s got their head up their ass. I saw this in the news so I thought I’d share. Not sure what the poor guy was doing, but I’m sure glad I don’t live in Nigeria. It is illegal to be gay there. Not that this guy was doing anything gay, but I guess it does not take much to make you look like one.
I guess I’ll cancel my plane ticket to that little bed and breakfast inn at Nigeria farms and fields! Ok, I guess I should not joke about this, but what else can you do, the place is a horrible place to live. Here’s all the story from the BBC news network:
A Nigerian court has sentenced a man to 18 months in jail after he admitted he dressed up as a woman.

And this was my reply:

I'm a Nigerian and Ive lived in the UK (thats where I got my first degree) and South Africa and I can honestly sya Nigeria is a wonderful place to live.
Unfortunately, we’re not excited about the “gay phenomenon” and I guess you can't really blame us. Its unnatural. As bad as that night sound its sooo true.
We are a religious bunch and wont be sold on this craze. No one is asking for your opinion in our country so you might as well keep your doing!!sucking mouth shut.
Geez, talk about fucking ignorance. Ever heard when in Rome act like the Romans? We don't need ur strange butt in our country anyway.
In your best interests stop making such hateful commemts about other nations because down here we’d burn the motherfucker if we had the chance! Noone needs ur weird ass in our very lovely country. Thank you very much

our government is just as BACKWARD as the people.
ABACHA is the most suitable president for a wicked country as this. we can all burn and jail each other down in flames and locks.
talk about homophobia, xenophobia we got it all. and we wonder why we are one of the most POVERTY RIDDEN country in the world.

THIS IS 2008 people. not year 700 BC

left and right there are threads about people stoning or burning old women and children to death for alleged witchcraft. what is CRAZIER??

POVERTY is a disease. because i'm sure if all were comfortable. we won't bother pouncing on  the helpless homosexual. we need a scapegoat to help make us feel better about our pathethic self-righteous selves.

we needed the europeans to come tell us killing twin babies and throwing them into "evil forests" was wrong years ago.
I bet we will need them to come and tell us again that burning or jailing homosexuals is wrong again.

WWJD?
