why are Nigerians crazy about the English premiership? They even show it on the National network television as if its everybody who gives a damn about English soccer.
The English will not even dare listen or recognise that there is Nigerian league talkless of watching it on their television programme - even the entire African Cup of Nations only gets a one sentence mention in the news - so what the hell are all these people dying for the premiership for?

My Guy @his_grace I am with you on this one,its just a total waste of good time, energy and money if you ask me, the growing fanatism for English football is not paying off anyone, except the TV networks and their sponsors, A frightening trend now is that in some major cities the so called blue and reds are turning it into a cult thing where they fight and injure each other.
I believe sport is a wonderful way to relax and easy tension and get your mind of the madness going on in our dysfunctional system which is badly in need of repair form us all,……………. my Bone! With this worship or should I say crazy followership of English Football is just another reinforcement of the falsehood, that if its foreign its better, Yes In this case its better, but if we keep watching and spending hard earned money and precious time on English and European football, What happens to our own? I see so many British, and Europeans where I work and my gosh! They not so crazy about the Damm!! Thing, the way the average Nigeria guys goes on and on about it.
To me, the sum total of this is that our Country is so hard and tough that Nigeria’s are using the one thing we enjoy most Football, as a palliative, forgetting that this will not solve our problems as a nation.
And yeah this is in the wrong section
