I watched a movie about something like this, once.

A billionaire fell in love with someone's wife and offered the husband one million dollars if he, the husband, would let his wife sleep with him- the billionaire.

The wife didnt like the idea, but her husband, who was also broke at the time, insisted. They later split up, because the wife was very bitter. The husband also felt very bad and couldnt touch the wife.

Afterwards the husband was consumed with guilt and spent the entire one million on a painting, which he donated or something.

Then he and the wife got back together.
