Big Hi to everyone

A new magazine about to begin publication request for short stories not more than 6 pages. The story must not be previouly published in any manner. It is a thing of joy to see your story published but greater happiness to receive very surprising monetary renumerations.

Each story you send would position you for separate award. Please no copying from another person's work. It is just one of the ways to improve reading culture among nigerians.I will be expecting them at abiolaoludele@yahoo.com

Entery Rules

Two 1st Prize: N20, 000.00

Two 2nd Prize: N15,000.00

Two 3rd Prize: N10,000.00
                                 
The winning entries will be short stories (not more than 6 pages) judged best in terms of

General literary quality,

Reflecting the spirit, ideas, and philosophies of the writer

All entries must be in English.

Plagiarism will result in disqualification.

Entries shall not include stories that have been previously commercially published. No offensive sexual write up is allowed. Simultaneous submissions to commercial publishers or other contests are not allowed.

Rights of first publication for entered stories and the right to use contestant's name

Each entry will be judged so that the identity of the author is anonymous to the judges.

Entries will be judged by professional authors and editors. The decisions of the judges are entirely their own, and are final.

All stories submitted for the contest may be considered for publication in an anthology.

If an anthology is published:

The First, Second, and Third prize winning entries shall be included.

All authors to be published will be required to sign a publishing contract.

Any author who did not win shall be compensated if his/her story is published


Eligibility

Anyone published or unpublished is eligible except individuals involved in judging the entries and their families.

No entry fee is required.

By entering, all entrants expressly agree to be bound by all the terms of the Contest Rules.

Time frame for contest

It shall be a Quarterly Award so if you want to participate in any quarter, entry must be submitted before the end of that Quarter

Submitting your entry

Entries must be submitted as an attachment to an email sent to the email address: abiolaoludele@yahoo.com. The entry so attached must be in .txt, .rtf, or .doc format.

Entries shall be acknowledged by return email.

Each entry file must begin with the header. Header information must only appear one time, and at the beginning of the file. Do not repeat on each "page".
