Surveillance Camera On Lagos Street, Is That The Right Step By The Government

Is security camera the best for lagosian, The lagos state government can’t boost of a good electricity and a good water supply, meanwhile tax payer’s money are been diverted into a security camera pole.
What do think.?
Is it a good idea or a bad one.?   

Some of the so called failure of government are the failures of the people themselves. Imagine stealing street light poles or the proposed cameras meant for security? I feel surveillance cameras should not be a priority for Lagos streets, it is more of a priority for banks and stores now.

Are you, in a way, repeating the age-old saying - a people get the type of leader they deserve? We are thieves and in return, being ruled by thieves. What goes round comes round! So much so for the Nigerian situation.

i think they are doing the rigth thing

The question is are they going to import generators for the cameras also
 

talk about misplaced priorities
how do they plan to service and manage these cameras? are they going to be solar powered abi hydro powered??
do they have a good record of offenders to cross check with and locate

The lastest news  from the government is that, the camera are owned by private organisations

how true it's is? i can't tell ?
we don't even know what they are doing or up too any more ???they are not carrying the people along

Yeah right, misplaced priorities. There are things that are more important than surveillance cameras. And who's going to sit and check the feeds? When they aren't even smart enough to tacke criminals physically, surveillance cameras will only complicate problems.

And, as someone said, they'll soon be up for sale at Idumota.

The camera are said to be for the MEGA BANKs, not for the masses,
so they are telling us to go and protect ourself, (nothing concern them)

fashola please give us light!  give us good roads! forget security cameras abeg.how do u propose to trace those criminals caught on tape,when majority of lagosians are of no fixed address eh?

Fashola will be a smart fraudstar if he's going to fund this project with the state's treasury.
