@teachme,
I did my medical in oct, when it was dec and i did not hear from them I went CDHC almost everyday until they told me that my dad's bank has not contacted them. I went to the bank to find out but the bank told me they did not receive any thing from CDHC, the manager told me that maybe they sent it to head office. I got a letter from my bank and took it to them they refused to collect it and they said they will wait on the bank.
Anyway I was told to bring another admission letter for a later date, I did that and that was all.
When did u submit and have you gone for your medical?
The funniest thing is that my school is resuming sept.

haaaa what? hope the guy has not scammed you? I smell shit here? you have to include your acceptance letter before applying for your study permit? How do you want to prove to Canadian Embassy you have been granted admission at the proposed university/college?

Hold that GUY called Kingsley, he is playing some pranks with you. How long will it take to make payment to the school bank account. My brother, it takes only 3 - 5 working days @ maximum.

Before criticizing the agency you gave your school fees to pay on your behalf? Since when have you given him to pay for your school fees?

Your respond will Judge maybe the guy has scammed you or not.

WHAT?HuhHuh?

Look go and use police to arrest him! WHAT DA F U C K? How much did you pay him? The guy has scammed you and giving you stupid stories. He got nothing to offer to you. September session is gone so don't waste your precious time applying for any visa. Meanwhile you are supposed to apply 3 months before sch resumption.

Look the guy didn't pay a DIME!! 1 kobo!! He didn't pay. He's fucking so heartless. Don't even bother to ask any questions from him again, just then handle him over to the police.

No receipt of telegraphic transfer he used to pay to @ the bank as proof of payment. I'm 100% sure he didn't even pay  your application fee.

CASE OF STUDY.
I applied to 2 schools in Canada, got admission and they sent my acceptance letter without paying any school fees. I just have to pay on arrival. I only paid application which is just 75CAD and 100CAD each for the 2 schools.

I'm sorry bro this happened to you.

Take heart,

THE GUY IS A BASTARD!

I paid 5000 CAD. I'm really praying this is not a scam cause my dad will kill me. I assured him that the agency is not fake. I have heard about his agency for a long time, and I've seen his advert regularly in the papers.
I will have to go there tomorrow

How do you pay school fees when you have not been granted admission? Even in Nigeria, do you pay your school fees to so-called agents? Some of you need to wisen up 4real.

Goodluck trying to get your money back. However, you will be unable to get a Visa for the Fall due to the policies of the CDHC in Lagos. You may shoot for January or next Fall. Again, making an application is not rocket science. You do not have to go thru any agent.

@ ofueby, the normal processing time after d medicals is 3weeks.y don't u wait it out before contacting them if u still haven't heard from them

@ sophy,i really hope u haven't been scammed.i went through an agency recommended by a colleague.went to their website and called their canadian office.still asked around about them before going ahead with them.i paid them only about  45k to register with them and for them to pay for the school application, nothing again until i got my admission lettert.another 120k with which they did all else---embassy visa fee, police report, affidavits n stuff, they're also paying for my medicals with that). i've already been called to go for my medicals before been asked to pay their visa consultancy fee(refundable if u're refused visa).i still havent been asked to pay my school fees yet.they said i can do that after i have my visa or whenever the embassy thinks its time.   I STARTED WITH THEM 2ND WEEK OF MAY which is y i think your own is taking faaaar too long.please ask for help.u may need to get rough with that guY you gave your money.HOPE YOU PAID STRAIGHT TO AN ACCOUNT AND KEPT AN EVIDENCE OF PAYMENT.you may also be better off starting everything afresh while trying to get your money back.GOODLUCK

I finally did my medicals today, called the clinic to confirm my appiontment n learnt i was booked for monday , not tuesday.

@ disturbia, congrats, u sure hv patience. I cant imagine som1 being wit my original documents for close to 1 year

@ ofueby n wonderbud, D 3 weeks wait btw medicals and interview/visa is jus an estimate. Sometimes it could be shorter or much longer. Since school is resuming sept i guess u shld jus chill a little to see if they'll get back 2 u. By next week, u may then pay dem a visit (my tots tho)

@ sophy, its soooo unfortunate ,  5000 CAD ,  dats some money.
I'm not commentin' mch b4 some1 else tells me "Be civilized mannnn"

Hi all!
I had my medicals 2 wks ago and am yet 2 hear frm CDHC. Shd i pay them a visit or is it stil under normal processin time? Some1 shd pleaseee reply

Wait for another 2 weeks - it takes a while for medical reports to be transmitted to the processing centre abroad (in France I believe) before being forwarded to the CDHC. If you don't hear anything after two weeks, start making enquiries at their office.

@ sophy09
People just don't listen - NEVER PAY ANY MONEY TO AGENTS!

If you can afford to pay school fees of 5000CAD, you can afford to use the internet and go to a post office/DHL and do all the application wahala yourself.

If in doubt, come to nairaland and get FREE advice from people like Delta instead of wasting money.

I HOPE the Eduworld guy is not a scammer, but by saying you don't need admission letter in your visa application, I fear he is - get your father to go see the man IMMEDIATELY.

I am nearly certain that he DID NOT SECURE ADMISSION on your behalf - February application for September entry is already getting late, and for someone to be unable to produce an admission letter? Definitely shady.

i finally went to the embassy again today though it was a tug of war but i made sure i summitted it after delays for several hours. i even met hamzatafee at the embassy whose application has been delayed for close to five months. we discuss at length and helped ourselves out. this forum is connecting lives, kudos to dat
to sophy09. if the agent paid any money to the school you have to send the school a debit reference or telex to confirm your payment thru an email address as an evidence of payment. please verify and act accordingly. the Lord will help you and be careful next time.
@ wonderbod, please can i av the website of your agent. if u dont wanna let it out here. please do contact me on stoguntayo@yahoo.com. i wish you the best and all other applicants.
, we shall get there, thanks to delta and fidelo for their advises.
