The woman looks so cold and doesn't seem to have mounted his husband in the past decade. Tongue
So, i wont be surprised if she has been consenting to his illicit affairs all these years.

Spitzer, a former state attorney general whose reputation as a scourge of white-collar crime propelled him to the governor's office in 2006, has faced calls for his resignation since apologizing for an undisclosed personal indiscretion Monday afternoon.

I was also told Hilary Clinton removed his endorsement from her web.  Things are really going bad for this poor guy.  lets all pray for him and his family

If this man can just maintain and hang in there for 2 to 4 more weeks, I think he could pull through this difficult period.

If he steps down right at this moment, he should also kiss his career good bye and good luck.
My advise for him: Do not rush into any conclusion at this point. Stay focused, stay humble, stay cool, stay strong, and fully accept the responsibility; it is a matter of time, something else that is more important will irrupt and America will forgive/ forget this crime.
He could also step down later, but not now.

Everybody makes mistakes; he's not special or exceptional. He's a human being just like anybody. He should go to church with his family this weekend, no need to hide from the media. Give them a chance to let all know that you do not have two heads. He should also consult with powerful and well known preacher.
I honestly think this man has a chance to survive.

My point exactly. . . .like she did not know her husband was a "nappy headed hoe" seeker? Cheesy  Frankly, all I see in her face and her expression is boredom.  You can just hear her saying. . . .na todaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, in her local dialect. . . whatever the heck it is! Is it not a western marriage?. . . the most open of all marriages in the world. . . she is probably doing her own some where and could not care a rat's arse if he fries or not!  What is her business?  Retirement benefits are set for life! Cool

Make una dey here dey make noise as usual. . . . . . .big deal I say!  When Nigerians are even worse. . . .hypocrites! Angry

Yes, he fck up; but it is also part of leadership roles to be able to deal with difficult period effectively.
No need to step down if he doesn't want to; the man did not kill anybody or steal government fund.

It will be stupid to drag the wife into this mess. It is clear to everybody that the man Fck up. Allow him to ratify the mess by himself and please, leave the poor lady alone.

Its not that easy, this is not Nigeria.  the guy is only trying to seek a plea bargain that will give him immunity from prosecution.  he will resign before the end of the week.  there were other charges that will be brough up if he tries to be defiant.

They are looking at money laundry.  The opposition will initiate an impeachment proceedings against him in less than 12 hours.  The guy is in the hot seat right now

The only reason the wife is standing by his side is because she is planning on staying in the marriage. There is no way I would stand next to my husband after some new like this has been revealed. I would quickly be on a plane elswhere!!!

I would prefer that he had an affair with someone (anyone!) other than a hooker. What does that say about my skills in the bedroom Huh
Other than my performance was so bad, that he had no choice??

After 20 years marriage, there is so much you could do.
I think it is better that it wasn't an affair. It was just a mere muscle release (a quick jump off).

I think real wives will accept this reason; an affair is more insulting and will hurt a little bit more deeper.

Think about it.

This is also the reason why real women will first ask their man if they are in love with who ever the man was caught banging.

An affair is a sin, that takes a very long time to forgive or forget.

Affair takes quality time away from your family, it over-works you mentally, physically, emotionally and financially.

(please, do not get it twisted; I do not condone this behaviour. It is absolutely against my morality) I'm just helping out MAMAJAMA.

It is confirmed that the man is stepping down with a deal that will protect him from being prosecuted for mismanagement of public fund and etc.

Smart man!

Kobe's wife is smart though.

Now see that one I didnt understand because that girl looks like she gives it to Kobe 4 times in a day talkless of week. Some men I just wonder about. Anyway she's probably waiting til he accumiulates so much wealthy like Jordan's wife so she can THEN divorce and get allimony of 1.5 million a month

Different scenario, my friend.

At the time, Kobe's wife was less than 22 years old and very much hot.
This woman is at least 50 years old, if not more. A beg, no gift, they will work things out!

Infact, at her age I do not think she will be impressed by any gift.

LOL @ Big B1  -  impressed by any gift.

What does she have to gain by staying? He is no longer Governor, they no longer have status or privilege, their kids are older (not babies), and the embarrassment will follow them for years to come.

50 is the new 40. She could rebuild a life for herself. Plus I hear she is well educated.

50 is the new 40.
Absolutely only inside a 50 years old woman's head (50 is new 40).

8pm every night she's ready to go to bed.
Friday night she is too tired to do anything.
After a glass of red wine she is tired.
Time to get BLW JB, she says her knees are bad.
Time to get zum in the middle of night, she says her head hurts.

Gif me a break, 50 years old is the new 75.

NEW YORK (CNN) -- Gov. Eliot Spitzer said Wednesday that he will step down from the state's top office because he cannot allow his "private failings to disrupt the public's work."

Gov. Eliot Spitzer apologizes Wednesday because, he said, he "did not live up to what was expected."

"I am deeply sorry that I did not live up to what was expected of me," he said in a brief news conference announcing his intention to resign, effective Monday. "I will try once again outside of politics to serve the common good."

With his wife, Silda, at his side, he added, "Our greatest glory consists not in never falling but in rising every time we fall."

The announcement came as the New York governor faces allegations -- but no charges -- that he is tied to an international prostitution ring ensnared in a federal probe.

Spitzer's lawyers were in discussions Wednesday with the US. attorney's office in New York, trying to negotiate a plea deal to avoid prosecution, a source with knowledge of the discussions said.
