What I find strange still, considering the reaction of people to this news, is that we are speaking of the united states of america here; the land where porn is a billion dollar business; land where sex sells, land where even the media takes a more liberal stand than anywhere else in the world I know of. Why is this being treated like it is a horrible thing?? I am shocked that even after clinton, that this sort of act gets this strict critism from all sides.

Oh boy,  don't tell me you are in for the classic card that makes absolutely no sense to play. Why in the world would you blame the wife for his paying a hooker for sex??? No single info on marriage has claimed it to be sex heaven and so the man knew what he was getting into so why even bring his wife into this?? No man or woman has a single excuse for such. They just do it out of lack of self control. I mean the man knew and understood what his job demanded of him and he still went for it. There are single politicians out there who do not do same so why mention his wife as possible reason where no where are we told that his wife told him to. Even men who are single, walking the streets daily don't all do hookers.

I don't think the press is doing a bad job at all. I am just saying that I did not expect them to be this strict on him. I mean this is the same media that sort of celebrates celebrities who visit hookers but they are basically still able to castrate politicians that do same. I had almost lost my trust in the media but this is a good sign.

Contrary to what many of us are fed by peers and some folks in society. it is possible to be married even longer than that and not get involved in such. There will ALWAYS be temptation, but in the end, each individual has to make the conscious decision to FALL or NOT TO FALL. Many have chosen not to fall and go on to have successful marriages and avoid this sort of scandal for themselves while others fall and end up in situations such as this one. I guess it all comes down to the quality of life one CHOOSES for oneself and how much respect one has for self and loved ones.

i disagree, self orgies has nothing to do with this deformation or sickness as some people are calling it.  The man may be the best father or husband, but he has unsatisfiable desire for young females and fetish.  I just wish the press can stop castigating the poor guy.

uummm,  I don't know what world you live in but most sane human beings consider, weigh the consequence of their actions before they go ahead with it and in this very case it is quite clear the man pondered it cause he made sure to try as much as he could to hide it,  that need to hide it already shows he knew quite well what might follow that action and the very fact that he continued to hide it over a stretch of time already gives you all the information you need to know of what the man did think of.  Another problem with your argument is that you seem to want to reduce an adult to the level of an animal in your argument. Do you know that even mice have the ability to tell right from wrong?? Do you really think you want to continue arguing this from the angle from which you seem to want to??

People always think of the consequences of their actions. Even in labs, mice have been shown to do same. Why do you think those rats in Nigeria run when they see you coming at them with a stick??
