Using Mastercards Issued By Nigerian Banks Online: Issues!?

Hi guys,
I want this thread to be for those using Mastercards issued by Nigerian banks.

I want to register for one. I hear rumours that some merchants overseas are not accepting it. Is that true?

What are the other issues surrounding the use of it for online transactions?

I use first bank mastercard, and i have used it several times in Germany, UK and SA. I also use it to pay for hotels in those countries from Nigeria.
