A friend in Enugu received an anonymous threatening text message last week. The message stated that they will come to collect unspecified amount of money, and my friend should keep money for them. The text indicated that they know his business and home address. I'm not sure what to make out of this. Is it a new format of 419, or armed robbers setting up their victim for attack. It has been reported to the police but I'm not sure how effective the Nigeria Police can be in this situation. Any insight will be appreciated.
