Honestly,i see nothing wrong with those boobs.Is it because they are not big or what?Yes,they look a bit cross eyed but its not as bad as people are making it out to be. This is not surprising, lets face it as far as the modelling world goes agbani is not an supermodel like Oluchi or even a noted fashion model. With the lifestyle she is living how far will the 100,000 before taxes prize(includes loreal contract) she won from miss world take her. She never went back to school after her reign as Miss world and she currently finds residence in newyork, her agency is there.
Personally i think that we nigerians have grossly overestimated that profits of modelling. We expect too much from them. I mean Oluchi won a face of africa contract for 150,000 for three years, i.e. 50,000 a year before uncle Sam. Yet we expect a millionaire lifestyle from her. Lets not even discuss about how much models in nigeria TRULY earn, minus extracuricular activites. The best thing that happened to oluchi's finances(in terms of our expectations of her) was LucaLuca. Now she reguarly visits naija unlike past years. Liya Kedebe is the highest paid African model and that is attributed to her cosmetic contract of 3 million for 5years with Estee Laude. Alek Wek has never has that kind of cosmetic contract.
Nigerians in general like to overblow everything like how people believe once you enter that plane to america you will immediately become a rich.

Divadarlin, I don't think anyone is overblowing anything. Do you have specific examples? I think people, myself included, simply like our Agbani. She reps Nigeria! Nothing wrong with that. No, I would not call her a supermodel. Who would? I don't think anyone has done that on this thread. Er, what do you mean by "her lifestyle"? Yea, yea Oluchi is stacking more paper. She's another I like. What of it? As for this biz w/ cosmetic firms, let's not get ahead of ourselves. For starters, I like Liya Kebede she was my fav model from 2002-2005! LOL! She's an accomplished lady and should be proud of herself. But very very very very - is there an exponent key on here? - models ever get cosmetic deals. Even the so called most beautiful woman (or black woman) in the world Halle Berry didn't get a deal w/ L'oreal (?) until she was about 36 and she needed a nose job to do it. So when you talk of people who haven't gotten a deal do not call Alek Wek's name alone. Single her out for what? B/c she is an African - can not recall country - she should leap tall buildings with a single bound? No, things take time. And some just don't happen. But she can still work those run ways! But, you're right, we shouldn't make too much of modelling. I don't like when young girls list that as an aspiration. But the $50,000 or whatever takes into consideration that models don't pay for hotels, air travel, food, (most cases) room & board (if she will share) and goes to parties w/ riches who give rubbish for free & designers also throw them bones. So, no it isn't the best thing. Yes, it can be glamorous. C'est la vie. p.s. WELCOME to Nairaland!
