And there was one that also had Nia Long, Sanaa Lathan (lets just say I  Kiss the girl), Taye Diggs as a writer . Cant seem to remenber the name oof the movie naw.

I always have favored African American romance  flicks. You wont catch me watching "There is sth about mary, Heartbreak kid or Wedding planner a second time. It is always kind of cheesy to me.

The reason I can't listen to most black artistes singing love songs too.  It just does not look real.  Imagine someone like P' Diddy as opposed to Justin Timberlake singing a love song.

Uhn uhn!

Let's face it.  We all have our talents. . . . . .maybe sports, but romance------------oh no! Kiss

When white folks act romantic movies or sing romantic songs, you can actually feel it.  But our black peeps do the same things, they just don't look and sound real.

No be by force I beg!  Lets just manage them like that. . . . they make good cooks and babysitters! Grin

so as we be men and women of colour we dey bash ourselves even though na true sha

black romance is boring, black people don't build businesses ati gbo gbo ti gbo to name but a few.

do we now believe that black people are limited in things they can ashually do? black people excel only when it's iphysical. a very good example is sports. i stand corrected sha. is it also true to say black people succeed only when do things the white way for example, oprah winfrey, tiger woods etc

if the above holds water, can i conclude that black people are RICH and NOT WEALTHY?

One white romance movie I do like is The Notebook. I tried not too, I really did, but it's good.

After that, I don't think there are any. I don't even like Gone With The Wind.

I HAVE SEEN ALL 25! Cool

Even cartoon characters in a movie can act better than a typical black person.  Even Denzel Washington is stiff when he attempts to play a romantic role! Grin

Thank God that Will Smith made it in this list with "Hitch"! which was alright at least! Cheesy Then Cub Gooding Jr in "Jerry Maguire"

Me thinks that the reason why black movies appear shallow is the undeniable fact that the black race has the very very strong SEXUAL bodylanguage/undertone in all the different RACES on earth so when we "do" romantic flicks, i mean, you just can't help but see SEX written in bold all over it.

Strictly my opinion sha

Na true now! Grin  20 years after "Innerspace" by Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan. . . . .black people are still unable to express their emotions and act convincing parts.  As a child, I watched "Innerspace".  When you see those 2 people together, you did not need a prophet to tell you they would get married. . . and divorce in the future.  The chemistry was so strong. . . . . I even wanted to get between the sheets with them for a 3some! Grin

Gosh!  It was electrifying!

I say the reason I cannot get into romantic songs by black folks these days.  See their music videos. . . . raunchy and illiterate! Naked sweaty bodies with drugs in the air. You cannot even understand what the hell they are speaking or singing due to illiteracy! Grin Compare "Terms of Endearment" and "Moonstruck" to Okoro movies like "Love Jones" and "How Stella Got Her Groove"! Angry  Nonsense movies!

But trust Oyinbo people. . . .will leave something to the imagination just to invite you to the bedroom.  I love it! Cool  Black man will show you jiggling breast, butt and all.  Grab this, grab that. . . .no finese whatsoever. Wetin remain now? Grin  I respect only Alicia Keys for her videos and lyrics. . . most of the rest are just thrashy!
