2008 LCU POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGEMENT

We appreciate your interest in the LCU Postgraduate Diploma in Customer Service Management.

We commenced the programme August 2006 and we are increasingly delighted by the array of industries our students come from. Our students come from such companies as Fidelity Bank, Dunlop, MTN, Celtel, Globacom, DHL, Sosoliso Airlines, Cherry Motors, GTBank, Cadbury, UNIC Insurance, UNIC, Health, Grange School, Bank PHB and self-employed individuals.

Our new set of students will be resuming on Saturday August 2, 2008* and we look forward to welcoming you.

The venues are for Lagos – Career Forte Suite Ruby Block, All Seasons Plaza, Agidingbi, and in Ibadan- Lead City University.

Programme -The PGD programme is an exciting 9 months journey through the wonderful world of customer service into the twenty-first century. The business world, society, and the worldwide demographics have changed dramatically in recent decades. The pace of these changes is greatly accelerating and more changes will come. Further, with advances in technology, change is happening in the business world at a phenomenal pace.

This programme explores the dynamics occurring at every level of every organization in every industry. It examines the people, practices, and events that make the world of customer service what it is today and will be tomorrow.

It provides a thorough introduction to a crucial skill set for anyone working in business today-people skills or the skills to better understand and relate to others. The skills, strategies, and techniques covered by this programme are valid in any organization because they are directed toward identifying customer needs and then satisfying those needs.

During this programme, our students will be exposed to practical, real-world concepts and experiences along with suggestions for dealing with a variety of customer situations and problems. By working through activities presented on this programme and then continually applying what was realized or learned, students can improve on-the-job skills and results.

A very intensive programme, classes hold on Saturdays only from 10am to 4pm. Students also receives all lectures on power point via email.

The LCU PGD features 10 courses offered on a modular basis within 9 months, which enables students to fast track their programme.  Students are assessed in each course and a minimum of grade C must be obtained in each course to earn the diploma.

Students will also be required to undertake a research project.

Call Center Training and certification – A major addition to the programme from August 2007 is a first class call center training module. Call center has come to be a major expression of customer service and one of the world’s fastest growing professions. The Customer service Training Institute, USA certifies the programme.

The investment for this course is N170, 500:00 (One hundred and seventy thousand, five hundred Naira only).

Application forms can be purchased at N11, 000:00 (Eleven Thousand Naira only) Career Forte, Ruby Block, All Seasons Plaza, Agidingbi or Lead City University, Ibadan. A pick-up service is available on request.

All payments are to be made in favour of Lead City University.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

The acceptable class size is 25 students and due to pressing requests from intending candidates and the modular nature of programme we will consider sessions in April or June if we have 25 students on enrolment.
 Candidates should indicate if they would want to resume on any of these dates. Such candidates will be advised from time to time as to status of enrolment. Students can always complete programme within 9 months of any date of enrolment.
