Hi all Nairalanders,
First things first,if this is a topic that has been treated before please forgive me because i hav not seen it.
Now to the business at hand:2face and the lousy videos he keeps churning out.i know lousy might seem too strong or condemnatory but the fact is 2face is a very important image of the nigerian music scene.He is among the top 3 music artistes in the country and while the other 2 are better entertainers and crowd pleasers, he is a better singer.thus he needs good, high quality videos to tell his story.
The power of videos can not be overemphasized.we just need to think about artistes like Gino,Face,TY Bello,KC Presh,D'banj,P-Square etc to know the power of good videos.Who would hav known Gino if not for that wonderful "No be God?" video?Or how many of Face's songs would u hav liked if not for the lovely videos he used to back them up?and don't u just love P-Square's videos?But looking at 2face all we see are either average videos or downright dull and lousy.I mean when "African Queen" was at its peak what wonders a lovely video that highlights the beauty of the african woman would have done?!Kennis music spent millions on videos for 'weak' artistes like eddy montana and barrister' son but somhow managed to get it all wrong with their crown jewel.Abi 2face and DJ Tee get beef?As we hear your 3rd solo album should drop this year, please look for DJ Tee,Jude Okoye and d rest and shoot a video that really befits u.

Beats me too. Apart from African Queen, TuFace has not released any videos that are up to international standards, yet. Let's hope he'll improve in that department. That's my opinion, anyway.

Now thats y he NEEDS a good video.He sings so well that a good video would ice the cake perfectly.Even Asa who's music hardly needs a video to be felt has a really cool video.make him do 1 really solid video;he deserves it and we his fans deserve to see it too

I agree that he's ruining our image. I have given my friends TuFaces' audio CDs, wish I could do the same with the videos. It's time for a wake up call.

African Queen was not up to par!!! That video was crap. The only video to date that was remotely close to looking good was the yahooze video. Nigeria needs a total re-do in terms of television, music videos and just general entertainment.

Guys, its not about KENNIS being clueless, they are just very greedy and they make those videos on purpose. They see it as "giving them authority" over 2Face. From the stylee video with Jimmy, you can tell the 2Face ain't stupidKENNIS has been approved by various top notch Music video producers to handle any of HIS video(s) but THEY refusedMy boy is just counting he's day's with them, once the 3rd albums done . . , He's done with them can you guys believe that will all his album success, Face is more finantailly bouyant the 2Face. . .? ? ? ITS just not fair |

True, True, No be lie! 2Face is falling apart in video's aspect yea, i think we got some good nigerian videos he needs to follow, eg: Kamakazee - Olu Maintain , watch it on youtube n u'd see effects! Now lets see "Kpere - Mo hits" and even "Close to you - Mo hits" , Those make some sense tho' shot outside Nigeria, They're probably embarazz'd 2 shoot a video here or wot? I don't understand all this, Hey, worr about "Kini big deal?" , These artist got mentality of their own n got chedars 2 throw jus to floss in their vid's, 2Face want to keep his Account Balance "even" , LOL.  , Now look @ "Shank - Julie" , He said u make bahdman want to take u home, make bahdman want to pop some mo's, Don't see MO's!!!
