1) If I have 5 oranges and I take away 3, how many do I have?

2) How would you design an elevator?

3) What is wrong with this code snippet:
for(i = 0; i < 3; i++) {
array = { 4, 5, 6, 7 };
array.push(5);
}

4) What are the features of OOP?

These are some of the many questions that I remember being asked during the course of my many interviews. Depending on where you live, style of questioning might be different.

If you are interviewing for a Job in .NET, here are some common questions

1) What is the difference between Abstract Classes and Interfaces

2) What do you know of Heaps and Stacks

3) Explain Polymorphism, Inheritance, Encapsulation

4) What is a delegate and how do you use it?

5) Describe the .NET Framework.

6) List the Page Events

7) What are the many ways you handle State in ASP.NET and explain each one
