Things have been very calm lately on the subject of Egwu's stolen billions. It seems as if he's gotten away with a well premeditated crime that was carried out by him and his administration during his tenure. If this man really stole from the Ebonyians, why isn't he being probed? Is it really the work of his political adversaries that are trying to smear his image, or did he corruptly enrich himself with public funds? Hmmmmm, we all know the answer to that, but why isn't he no longer being probed?

Haven't you heard about Yaradua and AGFs' "rule of law and due process"? Haven't you heard that the well mannered new EFCC is taking their time?

Obasanjo used the EFCC to hunt those, among the corrupt, who also happened to be his enemies. Y'Adua is using the EFCC to shield those, among the corrupt, who happen to be his friends. In both cases, political interference is the greatest obstacle to a genuine, credible, effective, anti-corruption effort.
Corruption is Nigerian's number 1 problem, and the number one perpetrators are politicians. Why are anti-corruption institutions still subjected to politicians and political appointees?
And how the hell is it possible for someone to get a court injunction that practically grants him immunity from prosecution or arrest? Kalu got his judge-cousin at Umuahia to issue such an injunction, and now Odili is doing the same in Port Harcourt. This is ridiculous. Rule of law my anus! If the attorney general won't do his job, perhaps this will be a good time for us to take the issue to the higher courts and get proper interpretation or what a judge can rule or not rule. This whole system is f'ed-up!

Haven't you heard about Yaradua and AGFs' "rule of law and due process"? Haven't you heard that the well mannered new EFCC is taking their time? The new "well mannered" EFCC is ineffective indeed. We must rise up in defense of Sam Egwu robbing us of our billions. Sam Egwu is a crook and should go out like a crook in whatever means necessary. If anyone else doesn't have the courage to bring Sam Egwu to justice, then the masses need to take charge!

If Alamieyeseigha is now running lose in society about to hold another public office position after he looted his state why does anyone think that SAM EGWU won't get away with Ebonyi's billions. ONLY IN NIGERIA GOV OFFICIALS CAN COMMIT SO MUCH CRIME AND TO STILL BE IN SOCIETY HOLDING OFFICE POSITIONS AFTERWARDS! THIS DAMN COUNTRY SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a good topic to bring up. Respectively to the EFCC- what has been conducted with fighting the crime against corruption. The same old thieves are still running loose with the country's wealth while the masses continue to suffer.

Yar'Adua and his EFCC (Farida Waziri) are still busy concentrating (mostly) on the yorubas.
So, they don't have time for Sam Egwu (for now anyway).

Many, but not "everybody". Abi you are not aware that Ibori, Saminu Turaki, Fayose, Igbinedion, Orji Kalu, Chimaroke, Joshua Dariye etc have been charged to court by the EFCC ?

Everybody got away with it, why should Sam Egwu be exempted Because the more we can collect back from thieves like Sam Egwu, the more we'll be able to put into our economy for the future of the country. We should never give up no matter what! Who ever knowingly implicated themselves with the looting of public funds should be hunted down to their generations. Embezzlement of public funds should not be taken frivolously, because it has a tremendous impact on our future that can cripple us as a nation. ALL EMBEZZLERS MUST BE STOPPED, AND SAM EGWU SHOULD DEFINITELY NOT BE AN EXCEPTION OR BE EXEMPTED!

So many negative things are written about this former governor. At Adelaide University, Egwu's name came up in a report written by a girl who did a story about corruption in African countries. I have never in my life felt so disturbed about being Nigerian, because all of the corrupt governors written about were from Nigeria. Well it turned out that she was also Nigerian and told me some very personal stuff about the former governor with tears falling from her eyes. So this guy is really a multi millionaire through various scams and fraudulent acts carried out by him and his administration. A true meaning of the saying from rags to riches, because he was a very poor man before he stole millions of dollars from his people instead of using that money to build education, create better foreign policies, infrastructure and so on. A heartless scam artist. You really need to repent and give your life to the lord my fellow citizen Sam Egwu. And after all of that give back all of the billions you stole from the people.
