Does the idea of having moderators cross the mind of the admin? Previously nairaland was decent, now going down thanks to spams and unregulated threads.
Reading the sticky in pc section about cracks, serial not allowed, I laughed because requests are made and people posts keys or whatever was requested.
How could one expect to implement a rule to function without execution?
Quitting nairaland has crossed my mind several times and still an option on the table. Well, we shall see what happens.
This is not the first time the issue of having moderators [aside the admin] has popped-up on Nairaland but each time, it appears nothing happens eventually. It's a simple fact that if the high standard that attracted so many people keeps falling, the great minds on Nairaland will leave leaving thrash to rule.
If moderators or forum admin overlook any annoying/scamming threads on any section/board, you Nairaland members, yourself are also can hit the hyperlink of "report to moderator" as see picture below in order for either moderators or forum admin getting notice much quicker:
