Evra's contribution cannot be underestimated.He does the job of two men adding extra strength to the attack. good marker and a good dribbler attimes, confident when with the ball and can always be relied upon.
Abidal on the other hand is equally a good defender with well-timed tackles.he has a commanding presence at the back but hardly supports the attack and looses concentration at times.
I will go for Evra because of the extra strength and motivation he gives to his teammates. i however think Domenech prefers abidal just because of his height advantage. All his defenders are tall.
