I just converted my Vista to XP and I installed some softwares on it.
Basically, the problem here is that each time I drag the mouse pointer towards the Notification Area of the start menu (Right Side), it does not display informations until i click it,
Normally when you drag your mouse towards the battery meter or the date/time, it shows a little information just above the mouse pointer, mine has stopped showing that.
Could anyone explain a cause for this. I need solutions please.
go to folder options, and select show popup description for folder and desktop items.
alternatively
left click my computer select properties select advanced from the tab click the settings button under 'performance' select the visual effects tab select 'adjust for best appearance'
I tried both tricks mayne, but it still ain't working.
Funny thing is that immediately I put on my laptop an the pointer is on the nofitcation area, it flashes and then doesn't show anymore. It might be a conflict anyway. Thanks for the suggestions though
