How Would You Help Reduce Neighbourhood Crime Rate If You Had The Chance ?

Assume that your neighborhood has recently seen a drastic increase in crime.

Further assume that you have 100 individual home owners and no commercial property located in your neighborhood.

Outline a three step plan to help reduce the crime rate in your area.

- Resume public execution by firing squad, viewable live on TV.  That seemed to work during the military era

- Fix infrastructure/provide incentives so as to encourage investment which would in turn create jobs which would in turn reduce crime

- Provide public service announcements on the downside of crime

- Abolish NPF and set up police force maintained by the various states.  Too much red tape from abuja.

- Provide incentives to police units for keeping crime rates down

- keep statistics on crime

- Give various LGAs incentives for fighting crime, so that say, those with lowest crime rates get certain bonuses

I know, but its effective.  As a kid, every saturday in the morning, they would show the thieves being shot on TV.  You know what that made me do? I wouldn't even dare steal a pen in class, because I was afraid I would get shot
