Hi Landers,
Why does most men had pot bellies after some years of marriage? Cause I wonder may be it is the food their wives cook, or rest of mind, or alcohols intake, or sex, or naturally ordained by God.
I knew a man b4 marriage, wen he got married, his stomach started shooting out, I asked him, why is he getting fatter around his stomach? He responded: "too much sex". I argued with him, cause I believed sex makes men slimmer cause they releases blood in form of semen at ejaculation. But he was damn serious that sex makes him bigger.
I dont want my 'husband to be' to have such, and if there is any way to control it. So pls does anyone has idea(s) why some married men has pot bellies?

its good food [home cooking], peace of mind, too much booze and lack of exercise. nothing to do with sex on the other hand, scientists say sex is a very good exercise - so if you give your hubby a good, hard and vigorous shagging twice a day, he should remain fit and trim  |

I support what the man said that sex cause it, though am not married yet and I don't have pot belly either, but I can testify that if I do it regularly everyone of my friend will be telling me @ that period that am adding weight. well that is from my own perspective shaooooooooooo.

You "knew this man before marriage", and continued 'knowing' him even after marriage. You are soooo much interested in this man that you could discuss such sensitive issue as SEX as reason "for his protruding stomach". Interesting! I think it has alot to do with lack of exercise. Alot of men figure that since they are married to you now, they can ease up on alot of things like staying in shape. But I think that if the husband can accept the wife's body change, then we have to accept theirs. Women have to deal with pot bellies and men have to deal with sagging breasts, stretch marks, and weight gain after women have the children. And you both have to deal with wrinkled skin and gray hair when you grow old together. That's what unconditional love is all about.

Thats a lie. Sex? Lmao! No way! Too much eating and drinking and too little exercise. My ex husband was slim and we did it like rabbits. I feed him well, his native food and mine (soul food) he gained weight but evenly and he exercised so he had a nice built body. Not a pot belly that hangs over or looks like he was pregnant. No way! I dont know whats happening but its certainly not sex.

There's also the fact that if they're more content with their life, there's the tendency for them to relax and eat more, less excercise.
Happily, I'm not in line for a pot belly.

Its not like the Pot Belly would murder someone or rob someones money but I have to admit that if the Pot Belly is oversized, it will affect someones health but to have like a small or average pot belly should be okay. |
