Emily Folashade loved it whenever it rained.
She remembered as a young girl how she was always fascinated with the way the weather always transformed whenever rain was about to fall. It always brought about a tranquil feeling, there was always something calming about it all that she couldn’t figure out then. But now she knew why. It was a sort of escape for her. A get away from the world into her own little space.

And now as the winds blew gently outside, she felt that loneliness deep inside. She didn’t even notice the tears in her eyes as she stared at the ceiling seeming to watch her life in scenes. Oh how she longed to be young and free again.

Which has but 28 days clear
And 29 in each leap year. Grin

Yeeeeehhh I still remember it!!!!!! Grin

Oh my God! You remembered.

I called my mom in Nigeria asking her what it was and the woman acts all confused, wondering what was the wuloness. Keep in mind, she was the one drilling the darn song in our heads like our lives depended on it and now she's all "Ki lo fe fi yen Se?" LOL

I'll confess something, I used to think "Which has but. . ." what really bad english.

Loved your stories.

Kinda, sorta curious about the lady on the phone.

Who is she?
What does she want?
What did he do?
How will he pay?

The crash of skin upon skin was tremendous, the heat indescribable. His lips dipped lower and she purred. It was a Sunday afternoon, they'd just had lunch, now this, even with no airconditioning, she wasn't complaining. Not when he was peeling her secrets open and tasting, eating,
Soon he filled her with that powerful bit of him, and it was great - then his hand slipped inbetween and,
Alas, she could not endure for long. Her release came hard, fast. She slumped back in bed, guilty when he withdrew, still ready, but always thoughtful to understand she was through. For now,

Drabbling. Now that I've tried it, I think I like it! Read through all the stuff, very inspiring. It's going to help some of us flex some literary muscle.  And hey, Stillwater, the "Hmmn", I hope you know good writers are sensitive. The cheesy face was so not nice. Back at you.

     SUNDAY AFTERNOON  STEAMY EROTICA CONTINUED

She gazed at him adoringly. After a session like that, she could afford to be generous, and sighed,
"Five million climaxes and counting. After seven years of marriage, darling, how do you do it?"
He shrugged. "Love, boo.  Just can't get enough of my Yumyum. So, good as ever?"
"Ohh yeah." She shuddered delicately with remembered delight. Her man was THE man.
He chuckled. "I aim to please."
"So do I. Next time it's your turn."
"Promises, promises," he growled, even as her eyes fluttered closed as she did what she usually did - pass out.

It's tough for an observer-turned-newbie poster to find a good forum to offload, unwind, and blend in.
Its great watching from the sidelines, but somehow, I got drawn to this topic. I encourage everyone, in their own little way, to chip in, whatever the genre. You must have guessed, mine's erotica and it's not easy, trust me, squeezing hot stuff into 100 words. Hope my next installment shows some improvement.

@Sisikill - At least you seemed to like my efforts. I think. I guess someone knows how to encourage the newbies!
  Peace.

Lovely stories all. Moved me to get off my fat ass and write another one.

Will definitely come back more.

A fresh start

And to believe that just a month ago Anne was sure she’d found the meaning of her life. Timi was everything she ever dreamt of and more. Kind, gentle and with his quirky sense of humour he lit her entire day up with just one smile.
But all that changed in an instant; with those words she felt she’d regret all her life, “I’m pregnant”. The picture she’d forever retain of him was that of a raging monster. But she felt no hatred. Not towards him or even the new life she now felt prodding her from within, almost teasingly.

Her jaw set. “It’s just you and me now.” And an eternal bond was formed.

the macabre dance of the love bride

the steel beam holds steady

blue water awash with white foam

she looks deep into the horizon

eyes forming a parallel to the rising sun

he loves me, he loves me not

a slight wisp of air catches her hair

below death, with its sickle and caped hood

seems to taunt her, jump he loves you not

he seems to say,she tastes saltiness

a soulful laugh escapes, tears of rejection

or love or of acceptance, life is a riddle

you don't know what the next script writes

but to all who know not

she dint jump off that bridge

he loves her indeed

and death has to wait to collect them in about 50years

not before.

   The Year 5050

In the very beginning, there was light. In this beginning, there was the Button. Yep, with one press of the mighty button, you could have anything. Even a man. Zee was fixing herself up right then. She clicked on her computer, Karma, and commanded, "Hot date needed, 8pm tonight."

"Specifications?"

Zee grinned. Ask, and it shall be given. "Let's see, tall. Chocolate. And oh, dimples."

"Check. Mental prefs?"

"Gimme hunky intellectual. I'm talking sexy with brains now."

  "Anything else."

"Yeah. He's gotta be well-hung. Like triple-x large."

"Sorry. This package is out of stock."

"Damn. Not again."

Final Justice

"No, not not this time," I thought to myself.
He had escaped several times, and I don't relish another long search for him. "Today he dies."
I ran my finger through the edge of the knife, to reassure my self of the sharpness.
Then, I grabbed him by the head, trying to avoid the look in his eyes.
Gently but firmly I ran the knife through the neck, up, down. Thick red blood gushed from the slit throat.
He struggled, I held on. until the Christmas goat lay lay lifeless by my feet.
